Hi Alvinkh,

No, you wouldn't want to do that. with CSC at XSOIJ2, there will be problem. you can't view chinese characters with the XSOIJ2. Not sure how teh DXIJ1 will works with the JD1-3

I am using the following

PDA : XXJD1

CSC : EURJD4

phone : XXJD1

Thanks for the clarification about Chinese characters.

I don't use Chinese chars so I have limited knowledge

about which CSC uses them.

First and foremost i would like to thank Gary Crutcher for his hard work and excellent rom cooking.

Having said that Can someone please help me!

I have installed the latest lite rom (excellent rom build)but am now faced with a small but annoying problem.

The start menu icon is in bottom left hand corner (it used to be at top) and because i use spb mobile shell the launcher bar covers the icon and i cant access it.

I have mapped a button to the start menu for now, but was wondering if there was any way i could either totally eliminate the spb launcher or move the start menu back to the top?

Thanks in advance

When the start menu button is at the top left, you are using WM6.5.

When the start button is at the bottom left, you are using WM6.5.x.

You cannot move the start button to the top left side.

Anything you can normally do with the start button, you can map in SPB Mobile Shell.

The only way to get the start button back to the upper left is to go back to WM 6.5.

P.S. Thank you for your comment about the rom.

Hi Gary.

I solved the font problem but

the caller photo is still not seen.

Does anybody have this problem with this rom?

With full euro jd3 there is no problem.

Thanks

Great ROM (GC JD3/23563 Lite) !!

I'm using it but have a small problem/question. Where can I get icons for different programs because AppLauncher needs them in ?png format.

You mentioned in instructions for AppLauncher that you provided icons for some programs. I found only CHomeIcons - are they the ones you meant? Or are there some others?

Hi Gary,

I become an Italian fan of your really beautiful work! I installed with XEU CSC and it works really well. I only have some small issues to report:

- some icons are blank and progs are not launchable ("Rich. Internet" and "Samsung Apps")

- MortScript about appears every time I turn on the phone.

- I prefer SPB MS 3.5.3, and Home icon is blank as well, but the program is launched.

Your kitchen is fantastic. I wish I had the chance to do same work in Italian...

Regards.

The reason "Rich Internet" and "Samsung Apps" show up in the Start Menu is because they are in

the CSC you are using. I've had this problem before with a CSC I was using.

If you read the README file it stated: "6. If the mortscript message annoys you at each boot, you can delete \Windows\StartUp\mortscript.lnk."

Thanks for your comments!
