Guest fattmatt Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) Hello Gary, congrats on your Roms mate. It is good to see some more chefs starting to emerge for our handsets. I am wondering if you would consider cooking in the BT fix for us BT handsfree car-kit users. It is the same fix found in Khuanchai's and Teeh's (PDAMobiz) roms, but you probably already knew that <_< Thanks for your work mate. Matt. EDIT- And maybe XDA_UC  Edited March 9, 2010 by fattmatt

Keep what you are using unless you need language keyboard, i.e, French, German, etc. or you need to connect to Samsung Kies or Samsung NPS.

Thank you very much for the fast reply Gary... No I don't need languages as my SPB Keyboard v4.1.1 gives me other lunguages anyway and I'm using "Windows Mobile Device Center" with no problems...

I'm going to use this but before i flash it, just a question. On the last version can I install Swedish keyboard to get åäö? I don't use xt9 so no problem there. If I use the older version with English only keyboard will I save memory? Again, thank you for all your work. Greg

Guest plguzman Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Why just 169Mb total storage? KSTAN ROMs gives you almost 100Mb more.
Guest c3p9 Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Thanks. Donate link already there. Maybe not BIG enough - haha. <_< Surely too small!!! Gary, I just donated U$10.00. Please confirm if you got it. I'm sure if I got the process completed.

Again, thank you for all your work. Greg Keyboard install should be ok. The Swedish xt9 kbds are only a few KB in size. I don't think memory should be an issue, but you can always use CleanRam from xda-developers to free unreleased memory used by programs.
Guest garyfl Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 will you be doing an ultralite rom bro ? if so pagepool 4mb ? <_<

Guest Gary Crutcher Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 will you be doing an ultralite rom bro ? if so pagepool 4mb ? <_< Yes, I will be working on an ultralite rom, but with 8MB Page Pool. Not sure I want to go any lower as may affect performance.
Guest Gary Crutcher Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Why just 169Mb total storage? KSTAN ROMs gives you almost 100Mb more. Probably because he deleted a lot more than I did, including many programs, images, music files, etc.
Guest dande Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Gary Crutcher big THANK YOU that you listen to some of our requests and share your work. Yes, multilingual keyboards are very welcomed from many users. I have flashed your rom already and it works smoothly. I will wait for you next lite version, as well as this still have enough waste. I suggest releasing two roms one lite (updating current) for people that like Samsung's stock apps and one ulite deleting almost everything that can be uploaded in cab. Wish list to consider in your lite version Deleting all mp3, ringtones, images, swf widgets and samsung today (which have an offset problem) maybe tsk themes RSS (btw it's not English version? not understand a word) sort of apps like: Smart search, Search Phone, Digital Frame, Microsoft my phone, communities and Opera All these are suggestion of course and you decide. Thank you
Guest seacoral123 Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Dear all, Can someone check the Garmin any problem? I remember even turn on the permanent on display in garmin interface, the garmin still turn off by itself. This dont happen for WM6.5 version. This make me avoid this wm6.5.x Thank you.
Guest emperorben Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 NetCF 3.5 is part of 6.5.5. Actually there is a NetCF v3.7 I will look at, but may or may not include it. Don't know yet. SDK Certs not installed. There are cabs for this. Easy user install. Will be working on an ultra lite version after I fix the keyboard and Kies issue with 6.5. As far as adding some of your suggestions: - overclocking - prefer users do that - not something I want to mess with. - others - will look into them Hi Gary, thanks for your 6.5 ROM (using it now). If you are looking to cook an ultralite ROM, please check out our wishlist here Will be eagerly awaiting your Ultralite WM6.5.5 <_<
