Gary, great ROM. With more Storage space would be A+.

Good job.

Hello Gary, congrats on your Roms mate.

It is good to see some more chefs starting to emerge for our handsets.

I am wondering if you would consider cooking in the BT fix for us BT handsfree car-kit users.

It is the same fix found in Khuanchai's and Teeh's (PDAMobiz) roms, but you probably already knew that smile.gif

Thanks for your work mate.

Matt.

EDIT- And maybe XDA_UC tongue.gif

Hi Gary, thanks for your 6.5 ROM (using it now).

If you are looking to cook an ultralite ROM, please check out our wishlist here

Will be eagerly awaiting your Ultralite WM6.5.5 <_<

Am working on an ultralite version...may take some time as there is over 300MB of files

in the OEM folder.

Been following your link.

Thanks Gary.

I have been asking about whether is it advisable to set pagepool=0MB (i.e. dynamic). What do you think about it?

Just follow the directions. Very easy to do.

Still looking into BT fix. If can find Package fix will include.

Will be difficult to test as I have no bluetooth headset.

hi gary,

so nice to try your lite rom. it's smooth and big free ram. just small error I found. when I tried to removed a program from Main Storage/Memory Settings in Samsung Settings, it's not exact program that I wanted to remove, it would remove another program. Anyone has the same problem??? Can you test and fix!!!

just installed this i get about 81MB of RAM (little lower then i expected) and 128MB storage. I enjoy using 6.5.5 seems like it dose a better job then 6.5. I just have 3 of the icons don't work correctly. Messages icon try to load the messaging app but fails, email dose not do anything and phonebook just opens the keyboard and nothing else.

EDIT:

after 3 hard resets it fixed itself. Another thing i noticed was the keyboard was a bit to low and blocks the buttons, it not really a big deal and i can live without it. Just through i menchion it. The other thing is widgetplus is to low on the screen, i don;'t csre since i'm not gonna use it anyways but makes the rom incomplete.

Lastly why not remove touchwiz altogether? i'm sue that would save alot of space

My UL version will have a lot more storage, Samsung Widgets/Today will be removed, etc.

You should have close to 90 MB free. WM6.5.5 seems to be a little memory hog compared to 6.5

Nice ROM Gary!

I'm using it for few days and it is just GREAT! Fast, stabile and lot of free RAM.

And yes, remove Samsung Widgets/Today.
