Thanks again for this nice release .. But I have a problem in synchronization with the desktop ... After connecting the cable attached handheld does not respond and do not work the buttons and the screen and remains suspended until the re-run the device or disconnect the battery .. Please help in finding solution.

hi guys

i have an i900 since dec 2008 and i've been around in modaco flashing hundreds of roms..

now i'm a newbie in i8000 (bought it last weekend) and i've been reading this section. i think i'm ready to flash it and i'd like to try this rom.

i just need a litle help here.

my device came with wm6.5 and here are some specs:

PDA NXXII9

CSC TPHII9

PHONE XXII6

i'm thinking of flashing PDA and CSC, but i wanted to know if i have/you recommend to flash also the phone part (so far i'm happy with the phone part); also do i have to flash eboot? from what i've read i think it isn't necessary because i'm already on wm6.5 but still do u think it would be better? (some fear of bricking my O2 )

I had that problem too before. I reinstalled the Mobile Device Center and now it works fine. Or if not this is the problem, then flash a full MST and then flash this ROM. The O2 gone crazy sometimes because the too many flashing.

The start menu on the top, fast and responsive :huh:

Had the same active try error as hakoom, will try reflashing tomorrow.

Just to feedback that I get "could not Initialize opera" error in the latest ver of the TF free ROM. :P

Don't really know why, not that much of a problem but after installing the official cab, everything works well.

What language do you use? I'm attatched only the hungarian and english language files in the rom to the Opera, but I'm cook in all now. :P

English, but it might be my own error. I reflashed and it worked already!

Active sync issue still exists after trying solution :P

Awaiting ur new ROM! ^^ (If its possible, cook in Office Mobile 2010!)

I created a JD4 version, but the bugs still exists. Facebook, Twitter not working and I can add new contact to the contact list, but does not save the name. These are the major problems and some things still missing (location services /I don't know what this is/ and some other little things). I don't want to make any promises, but I think we can finish it at early of May.

Since you have use the JD4 rom...do we still have to use the JC1 Eboot, CSC & Phone??

You need to use the CSC of the JD4, the JD7. :P

Just a question regarding CSC,i didn't flash with any CSC just left the one i was previously using I8000XSAIK2.

Everything works like a charm! Do i need to use the JD4 (JD7) CSC? Will i get any benefit seeming that i have no problems?

2. This is a Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM. If you want to the start and the "X" to be on the bottom, you need a 6.5.3 or 6.5.5 ROM. I hate WM 6.5.X versions (ugly, useless), so I will not create ROM from that operating system.

Rapid, why if this ROM has a 8Mb PP has only 151Mb total RAM?. 8Mb PP ROMs should be 159Mb RAM total.

I don't know. Maybe because I never flashed the eboot. :huh: But I'm sure the PP is 8MB.

Oh it sure was that... You could have 8Mb more available by flashing the eboot. I will test it then. It looks very nice, but now I can get more available RAM even with a 12Mb PP (RAM is vital for me, I do heavy multitasking).
