Sorry to re-use your famous topic title about How to flashing rom on i8000 because something is missing ! Under VirtualBox Windows XP Sp3 > I followed your Guide but my phone still invisble.... cause my phone was in USB_PDA mode. So I find in the folder Windows ( Show All Files ) the file DataConnection to turn my phone in USB_PHONE. Next my device has been detected to be flashed. ------------------------------------------------------ USB_PHONE mode = Modem USB_PDA mode = Storage VirtualBox show you when your device by USB is in modem mod or storage mod PS: if you want delete my post to add this tip inside the Guide it will be nice. But under Windows in Devices Manager you can see what happen when you connect your phone. If it connect on in Modem mod or in Storage mod.
