I am trying to troubleshoot a problem with phonebook app in earlier JC1 ROM. Would someone with this JC2 ROM be able to upload a copy of the \Windows\SECContact.exe? This might help me figure out what the problem is. :)

yes, usually you don't need it.

some user said they have some strange issue if just flash the pda rom, and if they flash it with eboot, everything work fine.

THANK YOU TWU2!!!

really great rom! now i can customize my i8000 without worrying about running out of main memory

weird but good surprise, i dont know how you did it or if it was intentional at all but the 3 sec ring delay is gone on my phone. tested it during different times of the day using another phone.

as soon as it rings on the other line, my phone instantly wakes up and notifies me. in previous ROMs i used, it requires 3 rings from the other phone before my phone wakes up

anyone else having the same experience?

just change timeout value to 0 (from 7530):

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\PhoneNetSelMode]

"Timeout"=dword:0

Hi twu2,

Congratulations for your work!

You made a lot of people happy with you ulite rom

I am wondering if you will release a rom for 6.5.x as there are people including me that we are fanatic 6.5.x convenience of the bottom buttons.

Thank you.

Can you please confirm this is for the 3 second delay? It doesn't look that way and it's reported not to work on any other roms. Thanks

change this setting will speed up the ring (still delay, but faster than default) in i8000. (I only test it on my device)

Subtitles aren't working well in landscape mode. They continue to the outside of the screen and can't split into two or more lines. In portrait mode they're fine. Any solution? This is still very good rom.

Good ideas for today plugin? I tried spb mobile shell espresso theme. It seemed good but it wasn't so useful. And I was left with only 60mb of free ram. When I used rapid's JC1 TF rom i had more than 70mb free ram and TF running (which is in my opinion the best todayscreen so far). I don't like chome.

in fact, for English, it's no necessary to flash with CSC. you can just erase the CSC (you won't see the battery icon while charging (power off).

or you can use any CSC.
