The screen turns off when navigating using Garmin MXT

Never had this issue before, but after I flashed to European JC2, my screen will turn off as if I let my phone to turn off in regular situation.

I've already set the backlight over ride to Always On under garmin settings. The back light doesn't turn off first (ie screen goes dim) then the whole screen turns off. Instead, the screen jsut turns off completely

Any method to override this?
