hi guys

i have an i900 since dec 2008 and i've been around in modaco flashing hundreds of roms..

now i'm a newbie in i8000 (bought it last weekend) and i've been reading this section. i think i'm ready to flash it and i'd like to try this rom.

i just need a litle help here.

my device came with wm6.5 and here are some specs:

PDA NXXII9

CSC TPHII9

PHONE XXII6

i'm thinking of flashing PDA and CSC, but i wanted to know if i have/you recommend to flash also the phone part (so far i'm happy with the phone part); also do i have to flash eboot? from what i've read i think it isn't necessary because i'm already on wm6.5 but still do u think it would be better? (some fear of bricking my O2 )

Hi.. I have an observation about SB 19 & SB20. I couild not get the GPS to work and found it does not retain the Enable Xtra Server setting does not retain. Anyone come across the same behavious? Thanks

I'm using SB20. Anyone facing the problem with the WM call screen being active in the front most screen. Whenever there's an incoming call, S2U2 unlocks itself and display the WM call screen. If you manually ignore the call, you'll see small instance that the Samsung call screen is right behind.

Anyway to disable the WM call screen?

thats a jd1 rom bug and the cooks can do nothing about it..

here's another suggestion of mine, can you include the enable front camera function??? i rmb seeing some1 being able to do that somewhere.. but if its too much then forget about it..or its already included??

hi, had some kind of problem with S2U2 too I think, thats a know issue since new phone skin. Three possible solution:

1.) disable samsung phone skin in registry

2.) use newForce phoneskin from jc2 (as I far as I can remember)

3.) don't use S2U2

Personally I like the hard work you put into these ROMS Sonbalck. But 57MB ram is too low and I dont like the fact if i have to remove someof the stuff on your rom how do I do that. for example I want to remove JML/S2U2 and contable skins... this is my personal opinion however but your works rocks. Keep it up.

S2U2 use very little of ram..

jml today use the most ram... so remove jml is the best.. other then that i not sure.. how to improve free ram.

so far i test sb 21 build very smooth free 60mb ram after remove jml today screen.

didn't test GPS yet

The most difficult part of creating titanium plugins is adding the landscape mode.

New version will have all functions in both modes: portrait and landscape.

It took more than 10 hours to add landscape mode because I had to create some new icons which work in both modes...

The highlight is that you can use different wallpapers in portrait and landscape mode.

I still have to make the cab.

Bro,

SB21 has the new weather update.

For switching to Accuweather do the following thing:

1. Copy the attached JMLCities.txt to JMLToday folder.

2. Rename the msn folder (\Program Files\JMLToday\skins\default) to "accu".

3. Change the following registry keys:

a) HKCU\Software\JML\Meteo\origin from "msn" to "accu".

:P HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\JMLToday\meteo from "skins\default\msn" to "skins\default\accu".

That´s all. Should work. Please reply. I didn´t try it.
