hi guys

have anyone noticed some lag in this rom?

i have more than enough free ram, with no apps running and sometimes it becomes laggy.

maybe it is because the SB27 was 20 mb PP and SB28 is 12 mb PP

Love your ROMs. 1 quick question. How do I change the JML weather from deg F to deg C? SB27 was in deg C but SB28 is in deg F. Thks once again.

i read the first post and it says the desire task bar is still cooked in?? is there an option to change? or is it overlayed??

another thing, are ginkage openGL and SDKcerts installed??

yes, could be that.. after soft reset everything is okay so far, so lets see..

probably it is not a real issue since everyone is saying this very smooth and fast.. and it is! just some lag at times, but solved for now. anyway, sonblack and contable have tested the rom extensively, so it should be fine.

Downloaded this last night - very nice build, and the homescreen is awesome!

Only thing I wish is that the WOW Settings wouldn't flip to Internal (Stereo) when I connect a stereo Bluetooth headset or end a call with said headset, but otherwise the ROM is excellent. ;)

hi, sonblack..thank you for the release..i'm a new user here, and i can say that you have coded very well..it's fast and stable..but there's couple of questions i want to ask..i'm sorry if those are basic questions...

1. Why i get "No Service" instead of my operator name (XL INA) in the top right corner?How to change it so it will detect automatically or if not, manually..?

The homescreen skin of JMLToday is my work so I can answer your questions as following:

1. Auto-weather update you can enable in JMLToday.ini (\Program Files\JMLToday\):

enable=1 ( 1 = on 0 = off )

time=06:00 (starttime)

every=60 (intervall of weather update)

endTime=23:00 (endtime)

pgm=JMLMeteo.mscr

lastDate=2010/03/26

lastTime=11:34

After you have enabled auto-weather-update please press Softkey 2 (Menu) and choose Update.

2. You can edit all links in JMLToday .mnu files (for buttons with menu) and .pnx files (for single buttons)

For example if you want to change alarm button to G-Alarm edit in \Program Files\JMLToday\skins\default the default.pnx file and install default skin again:

another questions mr.contable, when we get an SMS, it appears on the bottom part of home screen. and then, we can choose to reply it via the phone-image button>reply which will led us to samsung compose screen..after we've typed the message, we tap send, and we are brought back to the home screen, but why does the sms-box on the bottom part not disappear?it's still there..shouldn't it be closed automatically (or mark as read) after we sent the reply to that message?

Sorry, but I don´t know where in the regitry I can disable the wm sms-box on the bottom bar.

sorry mr.contable, maybe i don't explain it clearly to you. I didn't mean for the wm sms-box that pops up at the bottom bar (that I can turn off via setting>notification), but what I meant is that from your sms-box...when a message arrived, and then appeared at your sms-box, and then i tap the phone-button > reply. But after i sent the reply message, the sms in your sms-box doesn't dissappear (which it should be, given that it's already been replied/read). One more question. I intended to change the name of folder in main menu, such as TOOLS to TOOLS and UTILITIES or Office Mobile 2010 to PRODUCTIVITY...I've done the change via file explorer (resco). But after a soft-reset the name of the folders came back to the default one... Any solution to this mr.contable?

Ok.

I will add it to next version that after replying a sms the sms will be marked as read automatically. Only a small change in the script.
