Guest contable Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Hi. Where are stored sms messages? I'm asking because they are not visible neither for samsung sms app nor ms sms app... Sms are not visible without a tool like JMLSms.exe. JMHL´s great tool reads the original database and stores the sms as registry keys at HKCU\Software\JML\Sms...

Guest contable Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Is it possible to disable it without breaking JMLToday functionality? JMLSms.exe does not have any negative effect on Samsung or MS Messaging. Both apps are working fine on my device. As I know JMLSms.exe is called by JMLToday.exe. I don´t know if you can disable this function. You should ask the developer, JMHL, if you have a problem.
Guest Devhux Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) I'm noticing quite a few crashes with this ROM. Apps are closing unexpectedly a lot more than I'm used to in other roms. Main apps I use are Opera Mobile, Pocket Twit (a Twitter app), and Pocket Player (for media). In addition, it seems every now and then, I am getting display corruption in the JMLToday homescreen (usually after unlocking the phone). Icons are all out of place and I have to click Menu > Refresh Titanium to get it to work. If there's a fix for that issue that I may have missed, please feel free to let me know. Overall though, I love the speed of this ROM and really like the JMLToday plugin. Edited July 1, 2010 by Devhux
Guest jmsmartins Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 (edited) Hi. Where are stored sms messages? I'm asking because they are not visible neither for samsung sms app nor ms sms app... i had that problem also and a hard reset (through samsung settings) b4 flashing the rom (and i also did another hard reset through hardware buttons after flashing) solved the problem. cheers Edited July 1, 2010 by jmsmartins

Guest jmsmartins Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 for the first time my O2 crashed with this rom.. it was after leaving sms
Guest Devhux Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 If it helps,, I think most of my issues are related to the Bluetooth stack (specifically, A2DP). I've had a few cases where my headset drops out as soon as I get a phone call (despite the Handsfree profile being enabled for my headset). It seems that's when I was mainly getting the display issues as well. The past few days I haven't used Bluetooth at all, and the phone's been very stable. Still trying to test and isolate this.
Guest tanyasiapa Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Hi mr. contable, Sorry for disturbing you again. I want to ask again about your home settings. So, I want to change the default SMS application that opens when I click large SMS button and then the 'bubble' icon. By default, it opens Samsung Skinned SMS Application. But I want to open Resco Contact Manager. How can I do it?In which file is the setting? PS : I already changed the HKLM>SOFTWARE>MICROSOFT>SHELL>RAI>MSINBOX to point to RCM. (when i click left soft-button 'contact' it's already opening the RCM) Thanks for your time Mr. contable...
Guest solardamb Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Hi thank you for the ROM. i have flashed the latest one. two issues so far: 1- i have an issue with contacts botton on main page. sometimes it loads but others it doesnt unless i restart the device. 2- service provider line on the top of main screen, when band is 3G, it display "no service", but when it is not 3G, it display service provider "GSM provider name" many thanks in advance.
Guest Devhux Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Try running CleanRAM in Level 3 mode. That seems to fix the display carrier name for me. If the Contacts button doesn't load, you could try tapping Menu > Refresh Titanium.

Guest contable Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 damn, i couldn't see your wallpaper! :) are u confident for today's game? i hope it will be as good as yesterday's :D Bad soccer match today but Spain was the better team. Better news for upcoming JMLToday contable skin V3.0. I started to add new features from upcoming stock version V5.80: - fullscreen clickable, not only the slider - new appointment panel - new task panel and much more... Special thanks to JMHL for supporting me and SB Rom Series. After release of stock version V5.80 my skin will be available here, maybe with SB31. Cheers contable
Guest jmsmartins Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 yes i think spain was slightly superior, but german could have won as well, and it would be no surprise to me. good news about v3.0 :) what about my question regarding start menu icons? can u tell me something? and about SB29, can u post some screenies just for the teasing? :D cheers
Guest contable Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 The SB29 version I use is not for release because Sonblack has cooked it for my personal use. The only difference to SB28 is the wm build I use and Sonblack´s new Settings.sbr file. No need to post screenshots. About 4 icons startmenu I don´t know but will ask Sonblack tomorrow.
