Is there any way to change the city for weather to Riyadh:Saudi Arabia

of course. just find your city code in msnweather, then edit the file citiesmsn (or something like that) in \program files\JMLtoday, then in home screen tap weather icon and change weather location

Please flash again. Titanium does not work anymore. Did you use CHomeeditor ? I suggest not to play around with CHomeeditor without having knowledge...

Not sure why you singled out Contable as he has no obligation to answer anyone (were lucky these guys even share their work). In any case, I read your post a while ago and have no clue how to help. I would suggest kindly asking again with more details if possible. If you continually receive no answer, I would say it's safe to assume that no one knows. If everyone were to post a response saying "sorry I don't know" we would have one messy thread. Hope your able to find an answer soon ...I know how frustrating it can be having an unresolved issue; Good luck, Jazz8

If it's happened on a few different ROMs, it's safe to assume that it's not a ROM related issue; You might want to start a separate thread as it should call more attention to the issue and hopefully generate some discussion.

Hello,

I installed a custom ROM (23662) for the first time last week from this year, and am really enjoying the low RAM and main storage used. Thanks a lot!!

However, I tried some registry tweaks and messed something. I wanted to have samsung skinned threaded message view. On some topic it was advised to replace :MSINBOX and :MSOUTLOOK by jinbox.exe. I did that and following that my outlook doesn't work properly anymore. I can't start tasks for example. Further, my messages show up unexpectedly like booting up etc. I tried very hard to find the default setting for :MSOUTLOOK, but to no avail

Another problem I have is that I am not able to sync my notes with exchange anymore. They are only listed in the PC sync. I am quite sure I saw that option earlier, but it doesn't come anymore..

Can anyone help?

1. I cannot answer your question because I never used Samsung keyboard.

I suggest to use Fingerkeyboard 2.1 like I do.

2. This is Sonblacks´s thread. I don´t have any obligation to answer rom specific questions.

3. Before posting you should check how many posts you did and how many posts I did so far.

We are nearly the same time member here at modaco and I have 900 posts more than you.

So you cannot say that I´m not supporting other users. It looks like that you don´t support.

4. If I don´t answer a question it´s because I don´t know or I´m busy with my job.

Thank you for your respond , I made hard reset and now it worked , really it's the best I ever work with it , very nice today screen ,very lite rom even after i install all the software i need it. :D

does someone have problems updating weather with active sync? it's the first time this happens to me... i can surf in opera but cannot update weather, it shows me the weather icons but no temperature or anything else.. through GPRS is ok tho...

i didn't change settings and i've already tried to restart O2 and my laptop and also changed wallpaper, theme,...

any clue?

I am trying out your ROM for the first time (SB29). It looks good so far :angry:

As a suggestion, perhaps you could default the missed call icon to open the calllog.exe app in the Missed Call tab rather than the All Calls tab. This way it clears the missed call flag as you have viewed the missed call log. I changed the setting to TelPNG=%WINDOWS%\CallLog.exe;3 in the default.pnx file to achieve this.

with the new SB29 my i8000 wants to connect with 3G or EDGE every half hour.

i didn't had this problem with previous versions...

anyone has an idea?

band selection is on gsm, weather update is off, gps update is off, myphone update is off, windows live update is off

but even without all these programs i have it :angry:

You can execute it only one time after flashing. So, if you want to execute it again, you have to hard reset by hard buttons (Volume UP + Lock + Call + End Call) and ensure that SBExternal.sbr file was copied to root of My Storage because if you hard reset by Samsung Settings (Clear Memory), your My Storage will be deleted.

SB ROM Settings will do everything for you through SBExternal.sbr

GPRS is ok and i can update weather with it.. with AS i can have internet connection (can surf in opera) but cannot download weather, it says "updating weather...." for ~40sec and then i get only the pictures with no city and no Tº.. My JMLToday.ini file is ok and have already restored connections. let's see if today when i get home i can update with AS
