If there are connection problems with GPRS or ActiveSync I suggest to restore connection in Samsung Settings.

An automatic GPRS connection every 30 minutes could be caused by JMLToday.

=> check JMLToday.ini file

If "enable=1" then JMLToday updates the weather automatically....

i did a reinstall without the JMLToday, now it is fine, i think that was the problem!

EDIT: today still can't update weather, even after hard reset :/ .. seems like msnweather can't connect to internet although internet is active. can anyone share your citiesmsn file and also JMLToday.ini?

As mentioned before please "restore connections" in Samsung Settings. GPRS connection should work then.

No need to share JMLToday.ini or citiesmsn.txt. After flashing sometimes exists the described GPRS connection problem.

Personally I use SB29 with build 23569.5.5. A gift from Dr. Sonblack.

I don´t have any problem with AS or GPRS connection. The official SB29 I didn´t try so far.

You can execute it only one time after flashing. So, if you want to execute it again, you have to hard reset by hard buttons (Volume UP + Lock + Call + End Call) and ensure that SBExternal.sbr file was copied to root of My Storage because if you hard reset by Samsung Settings (Clear Memory), your My Storage will be deleted.

SB ROM Settings will do everything for you through SBExternal.sbr

Is there a way to disable the SMS sent notification in this ROM (SB29)? I have searched the main forum and tried all the tips I found but nothing seems to disable this. Perhaps something different needs to be changed in 6.5.x ROM? Actually I have tried many ROMs and I was never able to disable this notification other than one ROM that came with Sense that had it disabled by default.

I've heard of this problem happening on other ROMs as well; I don't think it's ROM related. I've read some posts before pertaining to this but I cannot remember where, try a quick search as it'll likely turn up an answer. Hope it's not to difficult to recover :angry:

my gprs connection dont have problem bro, i can browsing with opera and anything for online. the problem just the weather at today cant be update :D

i try restore connection for many times but no luck bro.

i try to hard reset 3 times with no luck too.

i dont know whats happen

what should i do now? :angry:

yeah i use the samsung today plugin, i think it is clean and pretty fast, i kinda like it :angry:

and i found this nice lock screen (atm only works on Daskalos Sense ROM) if you want i'll give you a cab...
