A PDA / CSC Flash question

Hi Guys...

Im very cautious and i want to flash my Omnia 2 but it just seems like im doing it wrong.

I havent seen anyone with a Australian (Optus AU) version of O2 here, which makes it harder for me to figure out how i can flash...

My Omnia 2:

PDA: I8000DTIK2

CSC: I8000OPSIK2

Phone: I8000XXIK3

Im at the stage of flashing using Octans Mini v2.11.

I have downloaded secany's JB1 PDA&CSC Files. I looked up using FUS but there are no roms for my carrier (AUS Optus).

I opened PDA and CSC and it says i need to select the carrier/region code for CSC.

I looked for my carrier/region code (DT and /or OPS) and i cant find it.

Does it matter if i change this to any other carrier? (for example, AMN, which allows me to choose english. Some other carrier codes didnt allow me to select english, only portugese and some other language)

So to sum it all up, i have roughly 3 questions:

1) Can i use any CSC regional code?

2) Do i have to update both PDA AND CSC? or Can i jus to PDA and by using which software? (Octans or the mini ver.)

3) Do i have to flash eBoot?

I know these are noob questions but i just need to know if its ok to do so.

Thanks heaps in advance for helping a Omnia lovin n00b like me :P

1· you can use any csc regional code

2· you can just to PDA and by using Octans 2.14

3· i do not have to flash eBoot. if you flash the wrong eboot ,it will brick your device. you can flash eboot by offical rom :P :( :(
