Phone connects to wrong provider

When the phone turns on and off it shows an "orange" logo...despite my flashing with a rom from this site. Orange is a wireless provider. Presumably it resold the phone. So we have software from Microsoft first messed up by Samsung and then by wireless providers, great.

After flashing the rom the data connection defaults to orange, annoyingly.

So I replace orange with the settings for my provider. Under connections -> modem ("manage existing connections") only my current provider is listed. Orange is now gone.

Using e-mail, everything is fine.

Using internet explorer, it tries to connect to "Orange World 3G".

Under "advanced" and "network management" I can select the correct network in both places manually. Although Orange is still there, it was not truly deleted.

What's the right way to do all this?

edit your connections menu....put in your new settings and make them default....
