I8000 - WM6.5.3 Update 20 March 2011

Thank Gary! it worked for me and great. After installed all my programs free storage memory 136mb and free program memory 90mb after boot.

Again I had the efficient wm6.1 pop up menu style. If I done a hard reset fellow restored back the installed programs, the pop up menu change back to wm6.5 style.

Very strange about the popup menu. Something must be different between flashing and a hard reset.

Yes, but it doesn't show in the Start Menu.

Do the following to get it to show in the Start Menu

copy \Windows\Task Switcher Thumbnail.lnk to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Task Switcher.lnk

It seems some of the links are not being created properly to show the icon in the start menu.

Attached is a corrected Task Switcher.lnk

Just copy it to:

\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Might have to reboot after, but I didn't have to.

May I ask you if you have include Microsoft Office 10 in this version?

Did you include new Titanium screen of sonblack as in your previous versions?

And why you build a 23103 again instead of 23557?

Yes im getting the same problem that you i have the notifications but i cannot see the messages, i love the roms the speed is great and the memory, but i cannot see my sms!! :s Any solution guys??

Did you hard reset guys after flashing?

I do not have this problem, Samsung SMS is working fine here.

I sometimes get weird things happen after initial install but a hard reset usually fixes them.

When you flash the PDA Rom do you loose whatever is in the "My Storage" area or does this stay unaffected? I did a hard reset a while ago and to my surprise I didn't loose anything from the internal storage area

You may want to check with Sonblack as he modified this today screen.

I removed nothing nor added anything.

There should be 44 weather icons.

There are no change logs I can find.

I have found sys_21647 and sys_23113.

Playing around with sys_21647 + JD1. So far working well.

Downloading sys_23113.

Note: Will be including Mobile Office 10 in future versions.

Hard reset doesn't wipe "My Storage". Only thing that does it is special service code hard reset and installation of .mst file. nbo PDA file doesn't do it.

Hi Gary

I am using 12 April 2010: JD1 (23103) / 23557 Lite version

and I have the following issues.

On incoming call screen there is no photo when receiving a call.

I can see the photos from all other samsung apps, phonebook etc

It used to work prior synchronization if I remember well.

No way to fix it so far.

Does anyone face the above?
