S2U2 incoming call problem with JD1-ROMs

I have a solution to this problem now :)

If you install the cab for the JC2 phone skin that was created by Newforce (thank you Mr Newforce!) then soft reset, the normal S2U2 functionality returns. IE the slide to answer screen is presented for incoming calls. I don't see any other issues as a result of doing this - the dialer looks the same still. I have attached a copy of the JC2 Phone Skin cab for convenience.

I installed the JC2 phone skin and it did fix the S2U2 slide to answer and caller ID worked perfectly. The problem is that it disabled the dialer completely. When I removed the JC2 skin and soft reset, the dialer came back but the slide to answer did not work again. Does anyone know how to enable the dialer key with this installed?

S282 v2.43 is out. Has anyone tried it out to see if it solves the issues with previous versionas a O2?

Apparently it does not solve the issues: wm caller id still lingers in lower layer. Plus, I can't configure it to answer/end calls through bt headset button, only through S2A or S2E or O2's hardware buttons. Too bad. Loved this app on my i900.

Did you install on device memory?? It must be installed there and no on my memory.

I have the new S2U2 v2.43 + Newforce JC2 dialer cab fix and it works fine since the first moment. I have tried with all the graphics set (directdraw, rawbuffer, GDI) and the best is directdraw. GDI blocks the device and turns it slow.

Try it.

I did install it device memory. The new version 2.43 made no difference, and I tried again with the new version to ininstall the the JC2 dialer and again it works perfectly to answer, but I cannot bring up the dialer with the send key to make an outgoing call.

I flashed to rom xxjg5 csc ehjg5 phone dxij1 and installed s2u2 v2.43. Didn't use the jc2 skin or any other fix. Seems to work better now, I can answer through BT, but sometimes the windows id appearing behind s2u2 caller id. This part is still not solved.

Well, it seems that we have to wait untill AC-S2 has time to solve this problem on S2U2.

Remember that is a awsome tool and FREE! Let's hope he listen to us and solve the problem on our 6.5.X versions
