This video shows you how to flash your Omnia 2 under Windows 7 32 & 64bit operating system.

If you follow the video's instructions you can easely flash a new ROM to your PDA.

The programs/drivers what mentioned in the video:

OCTANS_Downloader_v2.14.zip

CDMA_Modem_driver_4.34.zip

USB_Driver_X86_32bit.zip

USB_Driver_X64_64bit.zip

Watch it and happy flashing!

Update:

I attached the X64 driver.

The method is the same, but you need to turn off the Win7's driver signature enforcement:

Restart your computer. At the boot screen, keep pressing F8 and you will be lead into the boot menu, select disable driver signature enforcement and click ok.

After that you can update the MIT driver with the 64bit version.

Try this:

Restart your computer. At the boot screen, keep pressing F8 and you will be lead into the boot menu, select disable driver signature enforcement and click ok.

That should work.

Hello guys. Just moved up form omnia to omnia 2. But i can't flash the damn rom. with omnia 1 had no problems at all. Flashed it over 50 times.

Here i just can't manage to do it, although i've followed every step.

I'm using windows 7 x64.

Let me tell you what the problem is :

after following all the steps, when i press detect, i get these errors

1. WINUSB_Initialize 1

2. WINUSB_QuerryInterfaceSettingError 1

3.WINUSB_QuerryPipeError 1

4 SetPipePolicy 1

What is to be done. I can't say i'm a total noob about, but i've run out of ideas.

1. I set the boot option

2. i've reinstalled the usb mit driver using the procedure

3. i've reinstalled the cdma driver

But i just can't do it. Any ideas? Thanks alot

Hi Friends,

if you are also a flashmaniac like me... and flashing your phone many times..

then it will be very irritating with win 7x64 allways to restart your computer..... pressing F8

and selecting disable driver signature enforcement.... And so on.. and so on..

Now i´m using a little app called ReadyDriverPlus.. Once installed, it will do the job for you,

allways when you boot up your computer, the app will fix the procedure of pressing F8 and

disable driver signature enforcement...

Since i´m using it, i can flah without problems and working also with other stuff which

was related before to the stupid win problem....!!!

If you like, you can give it a try..!!

I attached the exe here..!
