Garmin Issue

Thats the issue I installed Garmin Version 5.00.30.wp-asn on my i8000, it works perfect, except for the fact that I have not been able to get it to override the turning off screen, i disabled the lock screen but it doesnt work, but I dont want to disable the screen off timer, and if posible neither the auto lock screen

I have the previous version installed (5.00.20wp) but i suppose the settings are similar, so start the program, go to tools -> settings -> display -> backlight override and check all 4 rows:

- always on

- on when charging

- on when navigating

- on when speaking

I have the same problem, with win 6.5.3 (JD1 ROM). I have never had this problem with previous ROMs. The thing is that even if i check all 4 rows in that settings the creen goes blank after a few seconds. I solve the problem by setting off the backlight time out in the windows. I dont like this.

I resolved this by increasing the "Screen Off Time" in Settings to 1 min (was 30 secs before) and keep the "Backlight Time" at 20 sec.
