Hi,

I always get "failed (remote: 42 custom id check fail) " in step 1.

Is this because my driver config for my legend in de android_winusb.inf file is incorrect?

Any other sugestions?

Best regards and thanks for your effort to make custom roms!

That means your goldcard isn't working.

That means your goldcard isn't working.

ha, now it works! when you make a goldcard then you have to be sure that you write it over position 0 to 170 and not at position 170 ...

thanks

Xilver,

Have a look under "setting, wireless & networks, mobile networkS, acces Point Names. If its blank , then you'll have to enter it manually for your telco. A good idea is to use APN Backup which you can download from the "market" & make a backup before flashing to a new ROM.

Hope that helps.

cheers,

Su

I have the same problem as the guys above: in step 2, it says "Device not found" for both the phone and the SD card. Why isn't it seeing the device? It was before, because I put on the USB drivers. Is there something else we can do to make this work?

Thanks for any advice,

Jeff

I'd like to know the same thing...what's new in this r4 update? When froyo rom on legend?

I'm starting to think this section about htc legend has been abandoned, maybe paul's focus is only on n1...there is a r4 update from yesterday and still no changelog!

Just a minor tweak to the script (nohup) to make the recovery mode more stable.

To start recovery mode one needs only the files to push, right?

If true: Could you also release a recovery only package without the "overhead"?

Hello there,

Could you tell me if you have any how-to or tutorial to create your own custom rom ?

Yours is very good but I'd like to add and remove a few programs...

Thanks for your help and for your work anyway !

who care about 1.32 root? We are all waiting for android 2.2 froyo root! That's the only priority for us.
