Because if the particular person is rooting and has an emulator running at the same time, it throws this error: Legend Root Step 2 Pushing required files to device... Password: * daemon not running. starting it now * * daemon started successfully * error: more than one device and emulator error: more than one device and emulator Pushing update file to device sdcard - this may take a few minutes... error: more than one device and emulator error: more than one device and emulator Now wipe and apply rootedupdate.zip from the recovery image menu. My problem was that I (as per the instructions) removed the GoldCard, which required a reboot, which would have taken it out of RUU mode, I think. Keeping the GoldCard in, I successfully rooted. Us Legend users in India run on 1.32,. This is my first android device and would love to have root access with ur help ofcourse. Guest StripLV Posted June 15, 2010 Report Share Posted June 15, 2010 HI, I've succesfully rooted my legend. when checking for the new update from htc (1.31.405.5), i can download it, but the installations hangs is this a known issue? any ideas how to fix this i've allready have remove the superuser apk and /system/xbin/su as mentioned in another tread... thnkx To Paul: Is there any way to edit the Root so we can install updates like the 405.5?
