for A GPS under samsung settings, does this rom have the XTRA settings? or A-GPS settings?

O.O i thought it is A-GPS for this rom? Wierd... i have flash everything except for my phone part.

Me too. But again, change is part of life, so I guess at a point we'll have to face the music. And this might mean 6.5.x and later the beautiful and unique r.... hubbish interface of WM7.

Then again, my car is 9 years old and still working. So 6.5 it is :huh:

I wouldn't mind 6.5.x if it's better than 6.5 (see a lot of people "happy" from 6.1 to 6.5 and now others from 6.5 to 6.5.x ...). We'll see.

In the end, I'm just happy they are working on improving things, which reminds me: Samsung, any chance of producing a mainmenu for worldwide that's as fast as t*omnia's? Just asking (on behalf of others too)...

Hey people :D DON'T PANIC!!!!! Samsung have 2 (TWO) threads one for the 6.5 and one for the 6.5.x till little later on...

I heard they will probably continue with the 6.5.x ONLY (Unfortunately :P :D ) after June - July.. :P

Terry, just curious where you "heard" this info about versions :P

Is it an official source/channel or a reliable contact?

It's NOT official ( I don't know anybody inside Samsung :P ) I read it twice once here from people who they, usually, know what they talking about, but I can't remember which thread and at list once more in another site when I was looking for some skins...

I personally hope is NOT real and Samsung continue the 6.5 or 6.6 or anything WITHOUT the bottom buttons... :D Or at least parallel with something like 6.5.x :P

Just downgraded my JD3 To this rom and surprising it is blazing fast... My SMS program takes less then a second to load up now (With 100+ sms) Altho the photo filter feature is gone... Samsung is on the right track now.. Even the Touch wiz today screen is faster tho it refreshed at every change of screens... but it really surprising fast. Now Samsung needs to change the OS to WM 6.5.x and we are set :P

Nice ROM.....The best thing in this ROM is the battery power...above 90% after 24 hours....

As far as I've tried, I've seen no difference from JD4 (For me this JD4 was the the best Samsung ROM... so far!) to this JD6.

So I've Dump nb0 with Wes great RomTool, then compared files with WinMerge.

Here are the few differences :

Drivers :

- headset.dll

- lightsensor.dll

- speakerphone.dll

- SV.dat

Apps :

- DMC.exe (connect home => I don't know I've never used it!)

- GPSSetting.exe (GPS settings => no visual difference !)

- Tclock.exe (Samsung Clock => no visual difference !)

NO more diff!

Memories after hard reset, removed any today + soft reset (so only settings is open)

RAM 81.79MB / 176,13 MB

Main : 107.88MB / 404.12MB

(exactly same as JD4)

How to access the A-GPS Menu like in your screenshot? I only got XTRA Menu under Settings > GPS... >,<
