Calibration Error

Hello, I recently tried the sensitivity tweak. It looks something like this:

_______________________________________________________

MY SCREEN IS ALMOST TOOO SENSITIVE!!

this is what worked for me:

Improve Screen Calibration

1. Open your Registry Editor(PHM Registry Editor)

2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/HARDWARE/DEVICEMAP/TOUCH/

3. Click on CalibrationData

4. Value Data change to > 519,503 177,881 182,129 847,127 849,872

5. Click OK to save it.

_______________________________________________________

Now, when i tap somewhere, my omnia thinks I'm tapping a place to the bottom left, probably 200 pixels left and 80 pixels down (guesstimate). I tried a registry editor from my computer but everything in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE is "access denied". And I can't get to the regeditor on my omnia because there's no way I can position the screen to get me there. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

P.S. The value data is exactly like the one in the tut. :P

Unfortunately I can't think of any solution to access the registry without using the touchscreen, so all you can do now is Hard Reset.

Hard Reset Omnia 2 instructions:

1. First switch off your phone

2. Next hold Volume Up + Screen Lock

3. Then hold Green and Power Button together

4. Then press Answer Call (left) button to confirm hard reset

You must hold the Volume Up + Screen Lock + Green + Power together and hold onto it. Release all once you see the Hard Format Screen.

or you can install mymobiler and go display your phone screen onto the computer....

you'll be able to access your registry editor with the computers mouse....

or you can just use it to re calibrate your touch screen...
