Your ISP connection should already be setup in connections.

Does your phone browser work so you can get on the net ??

What phone service do you have??

When I start internet sharing I get PC connection, USB & network connection ,broadband access.

Then I plug in cable.

Is your WMDC set to allow usb connections ??

Is your phone set to allow active sync not set to data connection ??

make sure you have this setting->general setting->usb connection and enable the "enable advanced network functionality" option.

Ya I forgot about that.

When I had to use my i910 as a modem,no DSL or cable in my area :)

I paid to tether and it was faster than internet sharing feature almost twice as fast.I took many speed test.

it has to due with packet size I think.

I now ,thank GOD have DSL.

I tried Youtube no problem via internet sharing . I watched a few clips seemed smooth.

What I was trying to say before is that I thought Internet sharing was to slow but I was wrong in my use of Youtube.

If you can use your phone as a modem for your PC then its another matter that's beyond me at this time.

You may have something running in the background preventing this or your carrier may have a block ???

Maybe a hardreset but youtube is not worth a hardreset IMHO :)

;) :D
