Samsung App Store

HI All...first post her on MoDaCo :) I just got my Omnia II i8000 from Bell. I am having trouble getting apps from the samsung app store installed on my phone. I have the kies software which I installed saying I was in the UK. Download goed well but I can't get the software to recognize my phone. It says connecting for a while, then says "phone not supported" I've tried all the USB ports on my computer, and even did a hard reset thinging something I did stopped me from letting this marriage work !?
