Hi Rodriguezstyle,

You seems to be GOD for cooked ROMS. Can you suggest links, videos pages to a total noob like me on

1) Step by step rooting directions for Legend

2) Updating custom roms

3) Backup original and revert as before if we need..?

I have searched a lot but nowhere it was clear.

Root:

Roms:

- Format your SD FAT32

- put the Rom or update.zip on it

- go in the Recovery mode

- go in the Superuser mode (if your Phone is Rooted you know how)

- the best is you Wipe all options

- install the Rom.zip

- than create a ext2 Partition in Superuser

- Convert it to ext3

- Reboot your Phone

you can create Backups in (Superuser)Recovery mode no TUT needed...

rom just tested :

no boot animation, only a black screen and phone take many time to boot...ok i must to remove battery coz phone stuck on black screen after 1st reboot...

ok revert back to Paul R3 , rom does not boot.

EDIT : as per Paul

@zabak : he use Paul rom kitchen and put zip addition :)

it was already done 5 times...

When i saw than i stucked on black screen i've done again all wipe menu in recovery mode....

but something strange, cause boot animation is on /system partition and root of the legend does not allow ( for the moment ) to write on it.. so how to change a boot animation without write access ?? it's maybe why i stuck on boot animation...

Boot ani is in data/local what do you talking man...

i used sdk to look into my stock rom and found my f*cking boot operator animation ( SFR ) in /system partition, it's why i talk about /system partition

btw i will look where is the problem.

but if you flash this Rom you kill all old entries...

maybe you have to debrand your phone before...
