Can you suggest links, videos pages to a total noob like me on 1) Step by step rooting directions for Legend 2) Updating custom roms 3) Backup original and revert as before if we need..? Guest rodriguezstyle Posted May 15, 2010 Report Share Posted May 15, 2010 Root: http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-lege...ow-with-1-31-x/ Roms: - Format your SD FAT32 - put the Rom or update.zip on it - go in the Recovery mode - go in the Superuser mode (if your Phone is Rooted you know how) - the best is you Wipe all options - install the Rom.zip - than create a ext2 Partition in Superuser - Convert it to ext3 - Reboot your Phone you can create Backups in (Superuser)Recovery mode no TUT needed... Guest ilos Posted May 15, 2010 Report Share Posted May 15, 2010 (edited) rom just tested : no boot animation, only a black screen and phone take many time to boot...ok i must to remove battery coz phone stuck on black screen after 1st reboot... ok revert back to Paul R3 , rom does not boot.
