I'm right now just waiting for a mirror of the JE3 for me to update this lite ROM :D

(and still studying the Sense 2.5 and how to port it to a pt-br ROM :rolleyes:)

After seeing the differences between JE1 and JE3 here by twu2, I think it's not worth doing a lite from this ROM. Those who uses TouchPlayer can grab twu2's cab as that's the only significant difference.

Mas lá vai... tenho um htc touch hd t8282 conhecido no submundo como blackstone 100... e gostaria muito de atualizar ele para windows mobile 6.5, já virei tudo de perna pro ar e não consigo nenhum tutorial ou rom pra ele que eu consiga fazer a update... será que poderiam me dar uma força? Agradeço desde já a colaboração!!

I created a ROM porting the build 23569 in JE3 original version and translate to PT-BR. I noticed some problems in this build:

- When I try to copy audio and video files (.Mp3, .Mpeg ...), connected to a PC via Active Sync, it happens several errors in the process. Sometimes copying a file or another, sometimes does not copy anything. In "pen-drive" mode, that does not happen.

- I have not found the option "Select Files" in "File Manager" (default Windows Mobile).

- The icons in the top bar clock (3G, sound, network signal, battery ...) do not open the menus of the Samsung. I know I have to change it, just do not know where!

- I also found other problems with respect to the language. I must to modify the .MUI file names of the OEM cabs ( *0816.mui => *0416.mui) to "fool" the system. That way I can leave programs OEM Samsung's PT-PT.

Because the first two problems, I gave this build.

Check if these problems happen in your ROM!

I've been using this build since I've released it...

1 - most of the time I use it in activesync mode and didn't noticed the problem when copying files. I'll look into it to test... Have you tried with "Activate advanced network funcionality" on and off?

2 - the file manager that I left on this ROM is the simple one, not a full featured - I think there are a lot much better than the ones that comes with the ROM, like Resco File Explorer (Shareware) and Total Commander (freeware).

3 - I don't have this problem... Are you using the 7 OEMs?

4 - That's what I did since samsung doesn't release an updated version in PT-BR and I really don't think of it as a problem.

Have you tried my build to compare?

Instale o SKTools... com ele dá para você modificar os programas que ficam na memória e tirar os que não te interessam :(

Após usar a sua rom JF5 por uma semana fui obrigado a trocar pela JE1 lite, pois estava tendo muita incompatibilidade com diversos programas. Por sorte nesta atual, que estou usando há 3 dias, não encontrei quaisquer problema, nenhum bug !!! Venho então fazer um feedback + .

Ola Shadow, a felicidade durou pouco...

Encontrei um bug que ja passei horas tentando solucionar e nada. Qdo recebo uma chamada a foto que selecionei para o contato nao aparece, fica somente aquele icone de no-avatar. Já tentei reinstalar o phone book, o call log, o dialer, o lockscreen, desativar o call id do windows pelo registro, pelo advanced config mas nada funcionou. Tb nao encontrei problema semelhante pelo forum. O pior é que o icone aparece normalmente no call log e nos contatos. Instalei tb o photo album pra configurar o contato por ele, mas sem sucesso . Tambem tentei encontar o Call Id original mas tb nao encontrei.

Se vc solber onde encontrar o call id original ( instalei varios cabs do post do twu2 mas nenhum é do call id) ou desativar o call id do windows, ou qq outra solução, fico muito grato. Obrigado

Instale o dialer novamente... eu imagino que possa ser de qualquer versão, mas eu recomendaria a JC2 se você for usar o S2U2...

Você está utilizando um chome que não é para a versão 6.5.3.

Hoje à noite eu vou pegar o pacote desta build e subo o chome para quem quiser instalá-lo.
