Guest mr.a Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 1. download Huawei U8220V100R001C125B249SP01 update pack. it's dload files. oh, dont forget to do a nandroid backup!!it's strongly recommended if case your failed or something happends.... Where can we download this ??? and can anyone confirm if this is a joke or not cos im no expert and cant tell if its loads of bullsh** or not ..
Guest Search&Replace Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 It's not a matter of it'll work on U8220 or not. This update problably replace some drivers, including vibration ones. If U8220, pulse, or any version is listed as upgradeable on the updata.app file, it'll upgrade, it'll work, and it WON'T brick your phone. In fact, if this upgrade has huawei logo instead of that ugly chinese provider logo that mine have, I myself gonna flash it later tonight. Yes, it does replace the T-Mobile logo with the Huawei logo, it is ok for me, however if you could flash it back to T-Mobile logo, could you share the package to me ?

Why would you want T-Mobile logo back? =D It's kinda impossible to have it back untill they release the next official t-mobile update. And I believe you won't be able to go back to the december update. Enjoy Huawei =)
Guest MarcusHenrique Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 AND I BELIEVE THAT THIS WILL FIX THE REBOOTS issues that you guys always complains. Cause I never had a single reboot in any 2.1 rom. Some pulse owner may confirm this.

Guest -Yaya- Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 (edited) I downloaded the Chinese file but when I try to flash it it sat to me E: No signature (4 files) E:Verification failed What should I do? you need to sign it correctly! where did you download it from? try to sign it manually with sign.bat http://uploaded.to/file/sqt4du you have to unzip sign.zip and put it in the same folder with the rom! oh and you have to rename the rom to update.zip to make it work! You shouldn't flash it, you have to upgrade. Put the dload file in your sd card's root, then turn you phone on while holding End+Vol UP
Guest MarcusHenrique Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 Not sure about that, I do have them... Have you tried this update?
Guest goce.nakov Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 http://www.tre.se/upload/dload%20U8220.rar Gusthy do I need to ZIP-it or signit or something like that?

And I believe you won't be able to go back to the december update. Enjoy Huawei =) I think it is possible, as I did it. The story is: 1. I got the Pulse with the T-mobile stock rom, and I flash it the some Chine Unicomm ROM, then the logo was replaced with the Huawei logo. 2. Then I flashed another ROM (Can't remember exactly as I flashed my Pusle over 30 time with the last 3 days. T T ... ) and got the T- Mobile logo back. 3. Today I tried flash to the U8220V100R001C125B249SP01 and got the Huawei logo again.... I did a nandroid back few days ago, and I think I could use it for restoring to 1.5 if the 2.1 is still not stable as what I expected. as I got many problem that trobling me these days: 1. No vibrate. 2. The phone could not sync the time with the network exactly (Not always). I wake up at 8:45 AM this morning but it shows only 5:35AM!!! 3. Process not response in some times. 4. Frequently reboot automaticly thus I can't use my Pulse with such an un-stable rom in daily work as it might cause trobles for me!
Guest MarcusHenrique Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 Gusthy do I need to ZIP-it or signit or something like that? No, you should do like I said some posts ago. just extract the dload file
Guest goce.nakov Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 No, you should do like I said some posts ago. just extract the dload file It says to me update failed....

Brand new U8220-6 -> Huawei logo then Android Chinese update -> Chinese provider then Huawei then Android Stock T-Mobile 2.1 -> Chinese provider then huawei then android then T-Mobile So as you can see, I can do anything and it wont make the chinese logo go away. I'll only have it removed when I apply some other original update.
Guest MarcusHenrique Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 It says to me update failed.... So that confirms Pulse is not listed as upgradeable in this update. Sorry for that. Which file did you download? I believe we must get original one from huawei site. If it stills return 'update failed' then it's really not a upgrade for pulse.
Guest igor_anta Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 It says to me update failed.... *ako go probuvas najnoviot, update 7 ni mene ne mi raboti, ne samo za ovoj metod nego voopsto. Vidi go onoj vanillaish rom, negde so e zabutan u topicot za 2.1 vanilla, mene toj super mi raboti. Ajt.

Yep, maybe that'll do the trick. Try it and report back please. If that does not work I believe it won't be a solution for pulse owners. EDIT: Despite of the horrible chinese -> english google translator I believe I've read at the hiapk page that this upgrade won't work to Stock T-mobile Pulse. You can try, but I wouldn't have much hope. Edited May 24, 2010 by MarcusHenrique
