I emailed Huawei a few days ago regarding Froyo to Huawei U8100 and got this answer today.

HUAWEI has announced an U8150 (OS2.2) in Hong Kong soon !

It will be first sale at HK and Germany at the end of September !

I think this rom can also be fitted in Mini ?

Let's cross our fingers and hope it comes. For now at Spain Yoigo/Telia Sonera said that they haven't plans to update. So stupid, it's one of the most sucessful on sellings!
