Installed apps2sd+, memory still going down

k i will not move /data/data but i have a question.

Today i have just reflashed MCR3 and formatted my 8 gb sdcard to 7.5 FAT32, 512 EXT3.

All went fine but when i check the internal storage capacity settings i see 144 MB.

So my question is : why isn't 512 MB? i just wanna understand how app2sd works

Because the OS is installed into the 512mb as well simply put.

When you look at the internal storage capacity, you're not looking at the symlink location, you're looking at the actual free space on the phone's NAND. The fact that you're seeing 140MB is good; that's a lot of free space.

k yesterday i have checked space with busybox:

Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on

/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 493.8M 86.3M 382.0M 18% /system/sd

I think it's 18% because there are some additional apps already installed by the MCR3.

What do you think?
