Heres some pics, it looks pretty cool, I love the dialer,

http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...k-root-upgrade/

Would it be possible to take the framework theme from that and put it on this?

Also Im currently on the Red bull ROM so would the T-Mobile Pulse 2.1 update work from this??

You can just replace your current ROM with my R5b. Will work as long as you have installed t-mobile 2.1 or the RBM ROM. Do you perchance have issues getting your SD Card to mount in windows on your RBM ROM?

'adb shell df'

My system line reads:

/system: 112640K total, 108468K used, 4172K available (block size 4096)

If yours is smaller than that, it ain't gonna fit. :(

P

Size 87040, no joy for Marcus 2day =/

Will this work with EXT3/EXT4?

Only EXT2 iirc... i'll check once my device has booted up (or 'adb shell cat /proc/filesystems')...

Are there no 2.1 updates at all you can apply? Neither T-Mo HU nor RBM?

P

RBM will work. I have an U8220-6 and RBM did the firmware update.

T-Mo won't work.

RBM I haven't tried yet. But won't hurt to try.. I'll download it now.

If negative I'll have to wait for a U8220-6 update (if it ever comes).

odex will come within the next version?

It is almost completely odexed, except framework, which is unodexed for theming reasons. :(

One question before I'm going to flash this MCR....

I have had the pre-release of 2.1 installed (r 6.1) and returned to the December Update.

Is it now directly possible to flash this MCR ? Or do I still need to flash the official Hungarian ROM first and after that this ROM ?

Hi, I have Pulse with JUNE update, can I install 2.1, please?

... Sorry for my English

You've to install the hungarian-update...

BTW: Got a "symlink /system/xbin" error. Says failure at line 12

You have to flash the official rom, so that it can make its resize magic.

I believe you still need the Hungarian ROM as it moves the system partitions around to fit the 2.1 update?

Redownload... if you get the same error again, you've probably overfilled system (after the failed flash to 'adb shell df -h' to see if /system is 100% full...

Guest Stevos

Great news, thanks!

Can anyone give a brief summary of the benefits of a2sd+ vs a2sd?

I assume it's a stability vs space issue but the + is foiling my google-fu and I'm not sure which is best.

thanks
