How to sync digital copies (legally)

WTF!? downloaded dark knight digital copy from disc that came with bluray. Two files. One for PC-1.42 GB, one Portable -700ish MB. Both play on computer, portable file wont copy, transfer, or sync to i920. Any ideas?

properties in media player says it can be played unlimited amount of times and syncd once more, however, media player will only sync if usb is set to my storage and then at that point it says device is not compatible. no format conversion software will touch it. very annoying when you pay for digital property rights and then be dictated to on how you can or cannot use said purchased property.
