aww.. after using this for some days, only thing keeping me back from using this is that S3clock dun work with singapore JC4..

but it is overall a good rom.. love having ppl keep the widgets plus and main menu and cube.. these things are what makes omnia2 different from HTC devices..

monkeyzz & froggyman,

After launch OMPASS City View, click Yes to allow it connect to AS, GPRS/3G or Wi-Fi to download the license and it'll run normally.

For Samsung Widget, think you had set Opera as Desktp Computer. Change it to "HandheldDevice" so that it could show you the correct widget page.

Click the "Download" wording (between 2 black lines) in the widget page and it will start download and wait till "Success Install Widget" prompted.

Below the "Success Install Widget" screenshot.

I'm a guy with low risk taking, so I had never try S3Clock before.

Thanks for your good words. I like almost all apps Samsung make for Omnia2.

I've think they just look great and purposeful compare to others WM devices UI.

No offence, just me thought, nothing personal.

a barebone ROM with only WM stuff and sense builtin :) that'll be my fav ROM :)

Sense UI on Omnia2 still very laggy and some functions didn't work normal.

Btw, today I had just bought a Samsung Galaxy S i9000 Android phone.

It screen and design simply look fantastic until I couldn't let it out of my sight and decided to buy it.

I like it VERY MUCH buddy!! :) :) :)

The 4" Super AMOLED screen alone, think absolutely nothing come closer.

Don't even think iPhone4 Retina screen could come closer too since it's only 3.5".

The Live Wallpaper another stunner with 16M full colors.

First Android phone with 3G video call. 5MP camera with ISO800.

My bundle package also come with some free local mobile TV, download ebook, ringtone and mp3 for free.

I write a more in-depth brief review if I could find more time, in Android thread.

I had no plan for that. Btw, you can self install that app if you like it. :)

tjin,

You'll need to download the 2 part files into one folder and extract them to 1 single file using WinRAR or 7-Zip program.

Then use OCTANS_Downloader_v2.14.exe and click PDA button and select the 1 single "I8000NFXJC4_15pp_no_apps.nb0" to flash your Omnia2.

Yeah I know but if ss keypad has been removed from rom, it may spare some more ram? because it still active even u select finger keyboard.

I just like your rom and i am not capable to be a cooker, so it is only my two cent as a user if it may help improve your rom :)

Other thing :) since you have enable etiquette mode by default, is it possible that to have a sound alarm when the phone is facing down (muted).

God i miss this function that samsung has removed it dont know why, it use to have Wake-up alarm and it still sound alarm even you turn the phone face down :)

monkeyzz,

Thanks for your compliment on my rom.

For setting an keypad as default input, you can try to use SIPChange.

For alarm still sound when Etiquette mode on and phone facing down, I had no idea about the fix.

Lastly, for Finger keyboard integrate and remove Samsung keypad in my rom, I'l need more vote to justified to built my new rom.

You vote counted as one. :)

Seems like my phone just cannot "auto" update weather data of the spb mobile shell & the XTRA -data when connect to the PC internet.

The setting for the both was as per previous which will allow me to auto-updates the above when connect to my PC. ;)

Any one have the same issue??
