I have a Bell Omnia2 and unlocked it. Didn't get 3G or data at all, like that. Just calls. Then flashed ANY other ROM (just PDA part) and was able to get Data configuring the basics as in every other WinMo device. Should be the same for you. You need flash the csc to remove all Telco customization, also you'll need flash the eboot if you going to use PDA 6.5 or higher, Tigo come with 6.1, i know because my i8000L came from the same country :) After flash CSC, to get 3G data service, you'll need enter the network configuration manually. Por ej: yo estoy usando la ROM JE3: que viene PDA JE3, Eboot JE3 y CSC JE5. Esta rom pertenece a un I8000NXXJE3, lo puedes encontrar con el software de Quattro Formaggi. Siempre elije del tipo I8000NXX<algo>, porque son unbranded. Al ser unbranded, la CSC es multicountry (europa y asia), asi que en Octans tendras que sub-elegir una de ellas, la version FOP es generica de españa, sino tiene XEU generica de UK. Los network settings de tu proveedor tendrás que ingresarlos manualmente. Respecto a si te va a bloquear el teléfono, no, porque el lock reside en otra parte que no está contemplada por eboot,pda,phone ni csc. Por ultimo, no flashes el Phone, porque dependiendo la frecuencia en que opera tu proveedor, podrías perder 3G. Si quieres probar actualizar tu Phone part para ver si la bateria rinde mejor u obtienes mejor calidad de llamada, usa un Phone part de un I8000L.
