How to overclock:

First set performance to HIGH. Goto start menu->Settings(Touchwiz settings, not default windows settings, in otherwords theres 2 settings icons)->General Settings->Power->Performance->Set CPU Performance to HIGH

Run Fpu enabler

goto oc settings folder under the start menu and select steels settings

run s3clock

run fpu enabler again(if s3clock doesnt freeze the phone)

if it freezes the phone goto the oc settings directory and run apl 900mh and CPU 980mhz, and if it freezes again keep stepping down the cpu. If it freezes with both speeds at 900mhz let me know and ill put in a lower apll script.

With my settings, I can outperform a stock HD2 snapdragon processor in some tests in sktools.

Have you tried lowering the settings? The oc settings are just a script that inputs registry entries.

Well I've tried to click on all the apll script files but it doesn't even highlight them so it's hard for me to know if it's actually registering. Where would I lower the settings? BTW my wife loved my O2 when I got it and I showed her your ROM and I might "lose" my phone if I am not careful.

this is looking nice, I may have to flash this at some point.. ;) did you get the media album and music player working properly? I think I may wait for the lite ROM and go from there :(

New rom released, everything is working PERFECTLY. I've been using it constantly for 3 days and have had no lockups, no troubles at all.

I have been watching and running all the ROMS on here and they are great. I have tried all yours and love the look of the new one, but it is locking up like every 5 min and have to pull the battery. Just on random screens too, not anything in particular. I am going back to your beta 1 for now. I love it the best of all on here so far. I wish I could do what you guys are doing, keep up the good work!!

Really? thats odd, maybe i accidentally uploaded a test rom... could someone else flash theirs and see if this happens to them also?

Thanks for the welcome. I have just been sitting back reading as much as possible and learing as I go. I was ready to throw this thing in the lake a month ago, now with some of these roms I am back liking it. Especially yours with the new browser, that thing is fast. I hope you build a very lite rom in the future too!! Thanks again for the hard work.

I enjoy this one a lot. I knew a community based ROM would produced the highest possible results. One cook can make a meal, but 3 cooks can make a banquet!

Anyway, Loaded Beta .1 last night and I am enjoying it. One request as you trim down the size, ( I'm running out of memory already), could you put all the games back in or point me to .cabs? I spend 4 hours on a train every day (2 hours each way), and the games help the time go by.

Also, there is a lot of redundancy of features, (multiple media players\viewers), I'm all for options, but at some point it does begin to feel like too much).

Lastly, I'll do my best to shake it out and post anything I find.

Sure, once this rom gets out of beta I plan on going for at LEAST 150mb of free space and thats not the lite rom. I'll get onto cabbing up the games as soon as I can, which games do you want cabbed?

WOW! So quick to respond, and take on the challenge! I know that figuring out whats' what and turning it into a functional independent install is not easy.

Solitaire is already .cab'd somewhere, as I already got that one. (There's a cab thread up here)

But the bubble game and Race game would be really Great!

I flashed mine to the beta .30 and it works pretty damn good. I only get the occasional freeze when I try to overclock. (I can never do it with CPU performance set to high). The Facebook home tab gives me fits too. It will update fine when I first log in but the will not update anything after that. I actually have to go under settings and turn off facebook updates and turn it back on to start working again. But this is one of the best Roms I've used so far for the i920 and it's still in beta.

Odd, it might be because I added the original facebook application back in which IMO is MUCH better. There's probably some files conflicting somewhere, I'll look into it =)

Just a quick update: The current official version of facebook(Not the sense tab) that I put in this rom, isn't playing nice on my phone right now, in case any of you other people have the same problem... reinstall it with the cab from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-...s/facebook.mspx

I agree it is better as well (I just like the auto updates of my contacts) My Phone doesn't open either Ill reinstall that too.
