Well, somewhere along the line my touchscreen no longer works. Will try december update.

December update fixed touchscreen and Tre rom seems to be installing. Currently says update complete - restarting and has done for ages. vaguely recollect this is normal - is it? or do i need to force restart?

Remove the battery, it didn't restart automatically for me

Wooo - looks vanilla. Some sort of welcome message in Swedish but appears to start in English, choice of five languages: German, English, Spanish, French and Swedish.....

Bad news, vibrations don't seem to work... don't remember, do they work before or after flashing the Hungarian (small) update?

Vibration works for me.

I was on FLB Mod 5.1 u1 before.

I've never flashed the small hungarian update (only the big one)

They are working while receiving a call, I just couldn't feel them while using touchpal :lol:

I haven't seen other 2.1 ROMs but looks like the old Vanilla MCR. 15 homescreen layout (!), Firmware 2.1-update 1, kernel 2.6.29-perf, build u8220v100r001c125b822

Touch screen seems much more responsive, which I believe was the case in other 2.1 ROMS. Will have a play.

EDIT: 39.83 Mb free memory on installation

EDIT2: Search for 'handcent' on market gave 11 results

EDIT3: Putting phone flat doesn't cause the screen to auto-rotate

EDIT4: Pressing green button brings up call log

Can't you just Time Machine > 2.1 Tre ? Cos the TM .APP resets the firmware ID to something upgradeable from the November Update (not an update but still) and I upgraded my cousins Pulse from November stock to Hungary 2.1 to FLB-MOD?
