Both IE and Opera freezes when opening!

When I trie to open one these browsers, both of them are freezing so I have to soft reset the device.

I have reflashed the rom, but that makes no difference. :(

dont use the s3clock just use auto performance its better wont freeze in any applications

At first I,ve used the s3 clock so I figured that the problem was related to this program. Therefore I reflashed my phone and didn't use the s3 clock with same result.

Odd thing is that the light version shows no problem, but since the xt9 dutch settings isn't present in that rom I flashed the phone with another rom.

Next to this the performance wasn't as I expected. Response was slightly better then the samsung rom but from what I read in the topic I expected a much better response which it wasn't the case.

Could it be related with the csc version? I now use version nxenjc2.

am having a prob, sometimes my phne jst doesnt go beyond the welcome screen it jst remains black n i cant do neting other than reflashing it

i had d same prob with sense 2.5 rom

i think it hapens when i install various apps that require a restart n give it a common sof reset

just reflash and set the performance to auto then check the applications works.. if same problem exists then disable sense and try out in windows default home screen it shud work

remember when using sense the ram goes down to 35-40 so it might hang sometimes its not the issue we r facing for first time in tis mobile and the csc version is not the problem am using the same version

my friend yest bought htc desire looks nice and solid... the android os 2.2 looks promising no colour limitations much stable and faster.. windows dies and taken the update hope from us ..........

you can change the links.

on my phone I have all so missed calls on my home screen. I think this is because the icons are smaller with this installed.

so there is more space between calendar en icons to show missed calls.

HOW TO OPTIMIZE SENSE PERFORMANCE

From testing the ROM, you can have 3 ways to optimize Sense performance, I have group them to 3 LEVELS, choose the level that best suits you. :D

(When you see Optional, it means you don't have to do it necessarily, but doing so will help)

LEVEL 1

At this setup, you will have a Sense that is fast enough without much tweaking (see Sense Video 7-7-10 below)

- Set Performance to Auto (this ROM is in auto already)

- (Optional) Disable My Location Service

- Disable Weather Animation on Home Tab

- (Optional) Disable Weather, People, and Documents Tab

- (Optional) Disable Tabs you don't use

Pros: A fast Stable ROM great for Daily use

Cons: ......

Verdict: Ok

Level 2

At this setup, Sense will be given some more boost

- (Optional) Do Level 1 Setup

- Set Performance to HIGH

- (Optional) Set Performances Settings in Advanced Config to Advised

Pros: Sense is much faster and all apps too

Cons: Reduced battery life (though not dramatically); Using advised settings in Advanced config "Performances" might consume more RAM

Verdict: Ok, Advisable

Level 3

At this setup you will havea blazing fast Sense,(see Sense video 7-10-10) though be informed of the cons below.

This is what me and the testers talking about when we mention "the Tweak"

- Set Performance to Normal (not High,Low or Auto)

- Run Easy Set S3Clock (if you don't know how to use S3Clock read here:http://www.modaco.com/content/b7610-omnia-pro-b7610-modaco-com/311584/easy-set-s3clock/) and set speed to 1Ghz (1Ghz?!?!...yup...actually you can set it 'til 1158Mhz)

Some of you might say "I thought S3Clock will only work when performance is set to Auto or High?" and "It will freeze device when set to 950Mhz to 1Ghz"...

So what is in this ROM, that will let you go up to 1Ghz speed?

Hmmm, maybe there's something special in this ROM :(

Pros: The fastest sense you can imagine, it isn't that battery consuming...

Cons:

I call Level 3 set up as the "Fake OC" .Strangely, not all apps will recognize (and run) at the 1Ghz speed. For example, even though Sense will be fast, benchmarking tools, like the one in SK Tools, will just measure a speed as of only about 600Mhz. Yup weird.

Some apps, like Samsung Camera, will crash and if you connect device to anything that will make battery charge (like obviously, the charger or connecting it to your PC) and try to turn off device by using the power button (long press end key) the device will freeze.

Verdict: Unless you charge it, turn it off and launch the camera while you are in this setup, it is Stable. A work around will be instead of using 1Ghz+, you can choose 900Mhz to 950Mhz (most apps, including the camera, will still work and not crash at these speeds).

Hello there, I've been experimenting on Sense, hoping to make it faster, and here's the result...

I have OC on 1000. when I need the camera ( not often) I just OC 900.

the speed is faster that way I think.

anyway it is nice and adds some nice things.

I personally feel CHT is much better than the Max Sense mode. Only problem is we are not able to edit the home tab in CHT and Max Sense is easily configured. But we can edit CHT through registry edit.

iam running the megalite rom with sense but the xcanvas htc-like phonepad always dails the last called contact even when i call a nummer that i just putt in!!

does someone know if the canvas wil properly work on the FULL-rom????

Any alternatives here?

You have to run the application again after a soft reset. But i think daskalos is working on a newer version which will have auto startup :(

If you read the thread you will notice that this is a problem that everyone has. It is not fixable.
