Guest jezze boi Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) dialer screwed up? it shows the default windows one without a background (just the dialer keys) when dialing, the screen distorts also messed up the messaging application lol now really have to flash :) Edited July 10, 2010 by jezze boi
Guest jezze boi Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) ok... i managed to get some files that (when copied to \Windows) work however, i missed some files - not showing the orange mail icon next to the message - now showing the awesome bubbles around the texts guessing there were some images to it that I didn't copy that seems to be all that is missing everything else seems to be working great Edited July 10, 2010 by jezze boi
Guest amdzero Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Okay, so after playing with a new set of cooking tools I've been able to create the SAME ZeroStock rom with bettery memory management. I've only played with it for 15 minutes, but already I'm impressed. I've altered the pagepool, and flattened the packages, and now it boots to 99.07MB free RAM. After letting it settle for 8 minutes, it has reduced to 99.04MB free RAM. not bad, so after playing with it, opening solitare, touch player, phone, phonebook, Internet Explorer, MMS, Email, Communities, Midomi, Remote Desktop, Media player... The RAM dropped to a respectful 74BM free RAM. The impressive part is when I used task switcher to close all the programs, it freed up the RAM to 94.2MB FREE RAM I've tried this with the stock rom I already release, and I haven't gotten NEAR 90MB free RAM. So this is a huge plus for me. now I'ma try to use the same techniques on Sense... STAY TUNED!

Guest amdzero Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 sweet! can't wait what you can reach with Sense enabled! I'm trying believe me... I saw a video of darklos (spelling?) that was posted for the omnia pro running a newer version of sense. I don't want to say that it is fake, but everything is moving REALLY fast. Almost like it was sped up (opposite of moon landing theory?).

I already tried calling you on skype. I'm using myspace IM client for skype unless you know a better one. I tried contacting amd on it as well but for some reason i can't get anyone to show up on it. Haven't we all heard of IRC? :) Can even do file xfer and many wonderful things on it.

Oh and I have 2016 in my possession I believe. Trying to figure out the ... what's it called? File authentication certificate thing. I'll have to look into more after supper.
Guest WolfpackInCO Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 sense or stock? Sense...I'm hooked on that setup now!
Guest amdzero Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 Sense...I'm hooked on that setup now! I've tried many times today to cook sense with the same method as my stock, and it keeps comming up with poutlook.exe failures. I'll keep trying, but until I get that solved, there won't be a beta. PM if you want to reach me on skype. IRC is good, but skype can also do direct file transfer (drag n drop even).
