sorry for my question, maybe I'm lazy to read each detail of your pages. :)

Is it possible to install cab files shadow for a facebook tab on your rom?

whether the dialer is used in this rom, and video call function?

and final landscape antecedent post by chokia already in this rom, without adding any ... :D :D

1.In theory, the cab for facebook tab should work too.

2.Neither HTC dialer nor Samsung daler is in this rom. So if you want the video call function, you may need to install Samsung dialer.

3.No, the landscape is not supported by default. I haven't tried it.

yehey its realy works and by installing arcsoft MMS 5.2.047.cab... the mms works also...

- EBOOT: Eboot_I8000NXXJG4_HW_40.eb0

- PDA: JG4_23569_Manila2016.nb0

- PHONE: Phone_I8000XXJF1.bin

and CSC: I8000PROJG4.csc

and now (of course) my t-mobile germany MMS does not work anymore.

I tried to flash with "erase CSC", with differen (older) CSC file .... no MMS working!

I tried all kinds of manual setup

I tried 3 different HTC connection setup cabs and SysConSetupTopaz27 cab ... none really works ...

AM I THAT STUPID???

The only way my OMNIA II can sand and receive MMS is to flash back another rom...

ANY idea?

is says it setup the connection but NOTHING happens ... there is only the brazilian setup

Don't know.Maybe it dues to the new version of HTC Message Client as I updated it to the latest one.

I haven't tried the Germany MMS server.But I think it should be easily found on the Internet with the help of Google.

It seems the SMS does not support Chinese, receiver always gets '???' for Chinese chars.

Is there any way to change the encoding of SMS?

1.In Manila message tab-all messages-menu-settings-options, make sure "use unicode when necessary" is selected;

2.Change your region in start menu-settings-system-regional settings to China and do a soft reset

No password needed. But if you should use the .7z file, you should use 7zip to extract it.

It's a RAM easter but I always get about 40 MB after long time use.

Always long holding the squar button and Ending the tasks is a way to have a better free RAM.

BTW, Do you or anyone else get trouble of weak GPS signalling with JG4-based ROMs?

I've tried this and even original JG4 ROM, founding difficult to have location fixed even with A-GPS.

Still trying to tune it.

Strange. GPS works fine for me.

Actually, you could set your GPS COM in:

Samsung Settings-Network Settings-GPS-Connection

If it still doesn't work, wish others could help you.

you can use sktools and on shadow service, free rom. mines always above 50mb up to the time of lowbatt.

Sorry, maybe I made you confused. What I use is Sktools as yours. "On shadw service" means is set as belows:

Sktools Main Menu->Shadow services->FreeUP RAM Service->Action->Enable

After doing this and softreset, you may find the RAM gwes.exe could be down immediately after programs is ended.

Anyway, both Sense2.5 and 6.5.x are RAM easters. :)

Just installed this ROM it's actually very fast, just wondeing if you can upload the most recent and functioning HTC dialer, i installed the JE1 samsung dialer for the time being but HTC is so much better

As far as I know, HTC dialer is not functional well for Video-Call and has some troubles.That's why I didn't cooked it in.

Sorry I haven't found a good version yet.Maybe you could ask Shadowangel for help and post it here.Thanks in advance.
