no that happens on 6.5.x. if you experience it often,here are some solutions

1. disable some of the tabs; use minimal tabs

2. try a soft reset

3. try a hard reset

4. even though its not a ram problem, but try Clean Ram-ing

5. Flash to a newer rom version, i have not experienced this since i have been using the Dec11 rom. (am still using it tho)

6. If it still happens so often that it is unusable for daily usage, switch to the 6.5 or 21916 build whichever you understand.

And this is not due to a lack of memory.. But it is also recommended to use the compact menu. HAve fun!!

I was using DEC20th 28xxx Reference version, than I flashed with DEC27 29xxx version - even worst. Now (after your advice) I'm using DEC20th 21xxx version and this white squares still appers. It means that this is not only 6.5.x version problem.

hmm.. then i am out of ideas.. it never happened to me though except with the very first i8000 nrg rom.. Then i think its the dec 20 roms.. you can only wait for nrg to solve it.. maybe try the sencity roms?? i am on it and nothing of the sort has ever happenned.. or the classic cookie 2.0 roms..

Hi guys

I recently downloaded and flashed "Energy.OMNIA.21916.Sense2.5.Dec.20" on my Omnia 2

and I have to say, it is pretty awesome! very good job, best sense I've used so far

I just have two small problems that I hope someone knows how to fix:

1. When I open any video using YouTube app (WiFi/3G), I only get a small video in the middle of the screen B)

The player itself is running in fullscreen mode:

Here is the weirdest part, when I stop the video I am watching, the app shows me two related videos

and the video I was watching gets fullscreen in the background:

but as soon as I resume it gets small again..

I tryied all video playback quality with no success: Auto-select / Fast Download / High Quality

The fullscreen button on app also doesn't work

YouTube app was working great when I installed Energy ROM

I am not sure but I think this problem came right after I accidentaly open the app with Gyrator2 (program used to force rotation on all apps) and tilted the phone, after that, the fullscreen got messed up and never got back normal, any ideas how to fix it?

2. My second problem is that for some reason my 3G notification icon keeps changing..

Right when I boot the phone it looks like the other icons, cool stylish blue 3G, but right after some time it turns ugly black&white 3G icon

i think NRG has stopped making OMNIA roms considering that his still doing HTC Leo roms.

his last update on the roms were on the 6th of january for HTC..

how is 29007 different from 21916 (6.5) and 28244 (6.5.3)?

The Master is still with us..........New Roms are on there way.......keep the faith, it may still be several hours before we see our up-loads. He says he is up-loading all phones with new Roms. Keep the Faith!!! All the old Rom have been wiped clean getting the space ready for all the new up-loads!! My information comes from twitter.

well, i never had any problems with any of the roms that NRG made..so stability is a placebo effect really....i have no idea in the difference in versions..i will have to test it out...

Read the stickies or risk bricking your phone.. Use the search tool to search for octans mini, if you have read the stickies, you will know how to continue..
