Anyone who used both 6.5 and 6.5.x can tell if upgrading to 6.5.x is worthy? What are the major differences. I tried 6.5.x from other ROMs before but can't justify on staying with it.

Also what actually is NRGZ28 HTC Messaging Client? Any screenshot of it?

Now that the GPS and internet issues are sorted out I would have one last question: Why does the 6.5.3 include the wrongly positioned 6.5-ish samsung keyboard? I would actually want to use that one for input, but as it's lower than the top of the bottom taskbar I can't hide it.

I'm also having hard time getting twitter, facebook and youtube to work, but that's a global issue. Is that right?

Oh........the new ROMs dated 18th Sep 2010 are unbelievable! You are super and top man! Mr NRGZ28! My dream has been realized! i must be doing something wrong... flashed Energy.OMNIA.23138.Sense2.5.Cookie.Sep.18 but got only 48mb at startup, 42mb after a while doing nothing at all... dl´ding 21916 to try it... using octans v2.14, flashed PDA and all boxes unchecked, should I check any? or put in a csc with it? thankx for any replies!

switched to 21xxx and started at 60mb, 1 minute doing nothing down to 52mb... after sleed mode and back, 45mb... what can I do to have 90 like u guys????!!!!nothing installed here yet, just the cookie rom

im using cookie rom the 23XXXX version and i have like 55MB free ram at boot and after 1 day 30-40MB.

still it does work pretty good.

oh yeah for those who say it's a battery drainer,it is indeed a battery drainer,you can solve this problem by doing this

Start -> Settings -> Samsung Settings -> Press right arrow (top right corner) -> the last Menu (the one with a wheel and key) -> Power and Performance -> Performance -> and set it to Auto (it is High by default)

you will need to enable the new compact menu at settings> compact menu.. read the first few posts it is all there.. but be prepared for a few 'hangs' on first reboot.. let the phone startup before playing with it..

But i must say, the 6.1-like start menu is super old school :lol:

for those who want to know anyway, i got like 70mb free ram on boot and leaks to about 64-69mbs stable after playing around with it.. but i am sticking back to the normal start menu.. the compact menu is like lagging too much.

The differences are in posts 1 to 5 thereabout of this thread. So that will help answer part of your question.

the list include only the PDA part. So far most people recommend just flashing the PDA. SO as you stated you are new to this,

I think you are better of just flashing the PDA. Since all that you see in pictures are from the PDA part. I am using this rom and didn't flash CSC,

eboot and phone part. And like everyone else "it works awsome".

So first flash which one you prefer after reading about the differences, then think of flashing the other parts later if you want to.

tkx!! switched to 21xxx, did the menu thing, got 73mb after few minutes on... also reduced animation and using 1 page 5x5 on quicklinks. amazing!! kinda reminds me of a hp ppc I had with that menu. tkx again!

oh? parhaps you are using the 6.5.x roms? cos the start button on my 6.5 seems broken after enabling the compact menu. but using the hardware buttons seemed fine..

You just select one that you think will suit your needs. I usually prefer performance and eyecandy so i go for 6.5.3 and either the cookie dinik or GTX
