Yeah... I think I need to add in big red letters that you NEED to enable the compact menu if you want more RAM. I could do it by default, but I dont think everybody likes the compact menu. I dont mind... In sense 2.5 you have SO many quicklinks available, that there's no need for the start menu anymore, anyway.

Compact menu has really "saved" your rom it's really the most beatifull sense i have tried till now and fast enough but..

always the same old problem with ram, that is the true weak point of omnia II device.

Enabling compact menu makes this rom usable cause with standard menu it goes out of ram in few hours, to improve ram i have disabled

htc dialer too.

I ask if you can bring pagepool to 8mb in next release.

Ps In same moment i get the "white square" problem on Mail and WEATHER , is it memory related or other cause?

I think it is JH1 since the previous roms (wm 6.5) by NRGZ28 have been JH1

l think if u compress registry more u get more free ram. l used registry optimizer (sktools) that make rom very faster. thanks dear friend.

p.s. I'm including the HD2 dialer from now on, since the HTC dialer obviously doesn't support Samsung's front camera. I will cook in Samsung's dialer as well, for people that want to video call.

Compact start menu and CHT lockscreen and I get 72mb ram on boot!!!!

This is freakin awesome! :(

Only microsoft could develop a start menu that hogs 40mb of ram and still lacks any decent functionality :lol:

Hi NRG, thanks for the new rom, the problem with the samsung apps are solved. One more thing though, I can't find the sim menu for my network. I tried running tkitapp.exe from the windows folder, the sim menu runs but not the same as the normal roms. Can you check on this on your next release? Thanks.

i'm using 6.5 "standart" and the taskbar trick didn't work for me, start button is still "broken". maybe the chef can fix this in a next rom release :lol:

yeah it is sometimes still unfunctional.. but hardware buttons should suffice.. so am sticking with the normal menu.. 20mb ram less doesnt affect me :)

By the way is there a way to change the background being use by qmenu? If I try to change the wallpaper, qmenu still uses the default wallpaper. Thanks.

FYI that dialer in VGA...we're in WVGA..

second samsung video call driver is differ than HTC one..although we can modified it still it is impossible to use that cab.. :lol:

Boot up free ram after tweaking and configuring: 60mb, after a while 45mb this is getting better and better, thanks nrg

I just tried the compact menu and love it (genius way to save memory) ...23138 ROM is simply amazing! Since the compact menu saves so much memory, I'm wondering if anyone knows what the page pool is at, and if a page pool changer would work if we wanted to increase it?
