I just tried the compact menu and love it (genius way to save memory) ...23138 ROM is simply amazing! Since the compact menu saves so much memory, I'm wondering if anyone knows what the page pool is at, and if a page pool changer would work if we wanted to increase it?

total RAM = 149mb so must be 20mb pagepool

so i want to decrese pagepool to 10mb... :lol: affecting performance or not?already change pagepool..just need someone opinion regarding perfomance... :(

after flashing a rom u should allways hard reset, so the only safe location is your storage card.

Flashed Energy.OMNIA.23138.Sense2.5.Cookie.DinikGlass.Sep.18.7z last night. I found out the following problems

(1) When I want to use "World Clock" to add a second time for other country, it is so small for the selection. You don't even have space for you to select

(2) The "AutoData Config" doesn't work

Samsung Dialer is better. AT least, we can make a video call :lol:

actually whether or not if you checked preserve my storage on octans since the rom is in PDA format, My storage will not be wiped after flash. even after a hard reset using the hardware key combi my storage will still be safe. unless if you did an eprom init or erase nv pda or smthing will my storage be wiped.

i was talking about a REAL hard reset (through samsung settings), not with hardware buttons

Ok, don't get me wrong here. isn't it already cooked in?? If not i can't find a (working) cab from original samsung dialer.

Well i must be the only one that doesn't get this device..........

I'm having a lot of problems with this device and after reading all kind of stuff about it i'm starting to think that maybe this isn't the device for me. I like to personalize and with nrg roms i can do almost anything, still i'm confused about many things.

I have currently 55mb of free ram on my device and only installed my gps program, suficient for now but this week i will give it a good test...........

(3g, word, adobe , gps, excell powerpoint, camara and music gives this device to have to do a bit of running............)

anyway i still have problem with "white squares" in sense if weather is enabled.(6.5.3 version)

For dialer you can use enrico cab to swicth the dialer you prefer after installing samsung dialer if it's not coocked in rom

Whith Phonx you can use people tab but you have not to flag in Phonx option "disable WM" so you preserve htc dialer function but use phnx

interface, which i prefer but pay attention to memory cause you have both dialer active

Finally rom keep well s3clock overclock untill 980 with fpuenabler on

I would like to see the light ROM based on "Reference" style with Sense 2.5, and without the Games, and pre-installed software (Opera 9.7, MP3 Trimmer, Voice Recorder, TCPMP, Full suite of Office Mobile 2010, Registry Editor, PIM Backup, Windows Marketplace, Total Commander and other ) that can be installed later without any loss in quality.

try samsung settings - buttons - wake up then select the first one

to save battery you can set the performace to auto. i think its default is high thats why it eats battery very fast
