Waiting for the 21916 GTX rom I'm now using 21916 sencity from 15 oct but I don't like this rom so much like I do the GTX rom

pls confirm, is the Energy.OMNIA.21682.Sense2.5.Cookie.Touch.Of.Glass.Oct.21 version is free from bugs randomly closed application ? otherwise i'm not interested to download.

6.5.3 GTX rom closing apps randomly! There is no htc keyboard, and when it is installed by a cab file it messes up with camera - there is no focus and can't take pictures

Your ROMS can be just nice when they dont use so MUCHHHHCHH memory, I installed GTX and have only after rebooting mobile and starting SENSE 21 MB Memory, tell me what I can make with this memory, talking, shooting camera or play movies HOWWWW ????

Use compact menu, this will give you more memory!

I have to test this "patch" throughly, before accepting this as a solution.

I actually stopped downloading the rom already unless the bugs are fixed. I flashed back the 4 Oct Sense rom with the HTC keyboard cooked in, its more stable. SMS and camera working and program doesn't close so much. I used tool to reduce the pagefile to 5mb so to have more memory, the speed is un-noticable with this reduction. I also used compact menu and used Xhook-Xtask program and disabled the ArkSwitch. Xhook-Xtask can also replace the start menu and uses it own start menu which is similar to the full screen menu with bigger and finger friendly buttons and it won't eat up memory. I have 50~60mb ram constantly. I'm happy with this setup and will stay with it until bug free ROM release again. This is just to share with you guys about my tweak to the energy rom. All the above mentioned program can be downloaded free from this forum, just do a search. Happy viewing...

I can't believe the latest posts I'm reading... Don't you guys KNOW that there simply isnt enough ram in you device to run Sense properly ? You have to tinker with the ROM to get the most RAM. Simple as that. I even provided alternatives to the Start menu to gain 20-30 megs of RAM back. Is that not enough ?! Why all the continued whining ?

Further to my previous post and response to some of the feedback on Energy rom Ram limitation, here are the screen shot on using xhook to get a finger friendly start menu without the higher ram :P a small tweak to help our hard working chef to relief his burden.

go to tools, click ArkSwitch, go to menu and option and un-check everything and re-boot. do a search in this forum for xhook-xtask, install the cab, set the option of xhook to replace start menu and run at boot, restart the device. Use start menu changer to use compact menu and reboot. assign the center button to xhook instead of start menu so that when you press the center button, you will open up the xhook menu like the one in the picture. Press the left/right softkey to navigate through the menu... hope this explain all.

Also, how do you set the option of XHook to replace start menu.I have installed Xtask-XHook and i have been playing around with for a while but haven't been able to figure out how to change the setting you recommended (by which imean i dont get those option,unless perhaps it is coded and i have no idea).

So a step by step direction will be appreciated.

how come I cannot use the alarm clock after using this ROM? No matter how I set the alarm, it just wont ring and will show as "alarm off" on the front page.

If you are using a rom with cookies home tab and editor cooked in, you can to go menu and the editor. Go to applications and for the alarm select the Touch Clock from the list. Then click menu, apply changes, and then exit editor. When sense restarts, you can click the alarm on the appointment widget and it will take you to the touch clock alarm settings. Set your alarm there and it will work. It will always show alarm off on the appointments tho, but it does work. I use it all the time. Hope this helps.
