Do you have any details on the restrictions in place so I can be really geeky?

That is the restriction. If an app calls the superuser binary, you get a popup on screen asking for your permission.

any idea why my wifi connection drops if I leave the phone for 2 minutes, I then have to go into wireless settings to turn it off then back on again?

when the phone goes black and I have to unlock, I then have to reset wireless

This happens for me as well :lol:

I had the exact same issue, both with the stock ROM and the custom one. The fix for me was to go into Settings > Wireless & Networks > Wi-fi Settings > Press 'Menu' > Advanced and change Wi-fi sleep policy to 'Never'. Not had a problem with wi-fi since.

I have the same issue with my T-Mobile Pulse. It's a standard Android issue I've found.

just flashed mine using ubuntu, only thing you need to know for the command line is to use the following

sudo ./fastboot-linux flash boot boot.blade.superboot.mcri.r2.img

and for the reboot

sudo ./fastboot-linux reboot

took a while to work out

I pushed the apns-conf.xml which I was using with my pulse to my phone and it works ok. Might be worth adding it to the next release of the SanFran rom so everyone unlocked has working 3G out of the box?

After the flash,having a weird problem where stuff seems to get stuck on the lock screen.What i mean is if i have a missed call/sms unlock my phone take a look,and then re-lock.That same missed call notification shows up again on the lock screen.Same sort of thing if i want to change the wallpaper,it wont physically change until i turn the phone off and on again.

Anyone else having this,or is it me being a muppet.And ive changed a setting somewhere without realising it.

EDIT. Please ignore.As i suspected it was me being a muppet and being heavy handed with task killer.

Where were you when I needed Win 7 x64 drivers yesterday B) what a faff about that was. :lol:

Ive noticed there's a few things i cant remove, like wwtbam, guitar hero etc B) any ideas how to.

Also went to load some ringtones, mp3 music and pictures/wallpapers but couldn't find the relevant folder when browsing the mounted device on the puter? any pointers feel free.

Put music etc. on your SD card and create a folder for them, don't think android cares where you put them B)

Im struggling with MMS on my o2 simplicity SIM on my unlocked San Francisco.

Ive copied your apns-conf file over onto my handset and done a "rest to default" on the APNs screen. I now have 4 APNs - O2 Internet, O2 PostpayMMS, O2 PrepayMMS and Tesco.

All of the settings in these are "greyed out" when you click into them and they cannot be deleted.

Unfortunately MMS still doesnt work, and the "server" setting is absent from the O2PostpayMMS apn but I cant edit it !

Any ideas ?

Reporting a bug.

Wireless LAN configuration crashes when attempting to associate with access points with EAP. Specifically, the eduroam network that is in use by universities across Europe seems to cause the crash. I observed this while trying to hop on my local university network.

Im struggling to get 3G working on my unlocked (and now rooted and flashed, yay!) SF.

The 3G symbol has never appeared on the phone, except when turning it on when the icon appears for a second then disappears.

Ivw manually entered the settings for 2 APN's from the O2 website, one for MMS, one for web.

Another thing is, are APN's mutually exclusive? Ie. Surely I need both APN's enabled to get MMS and and Mobile Web, but it only lets you set one as default?

Any info appreciated.
