Hi,

I got a problem with this rom that keeps me from using it ... Each time I flash the french patch (I tried many times) my accelerometer breaks ... I can't turn my screen or play any game that requires moving the phone (for example Abduction! or Speedx 3D).

I know you don't support this translation but could you have a look at what may cause the problem ? And could someone confirm this bug ?

(I checked and the accelerometer works fine until I flash the patch)

Not for me, works fine with the French patch on Rom 4.504b

Got that too, have a solution:

-Open your MIUI Chinese ROM (not the french patch) with Winrar

-Go to /system and you'll find a build.prop file, extract it wherever you want.

-Open your French patch and go to /system

-Copy the build.prop you extracted before, so that the french one is replaced.

-Flash French patch again.

After some daysof testing, this is by far the most advanced rom in my point of view. I can manage the screens well and my wife as well :-D (personal opinion)

after 14h left 20%, not so bad for me, I'm on 3g, I connect a lot to internet, screen on 80%.

how did you get such a good batterylife?! mine is almost emty after ca. 8 to 10 hours?! by taking some fotos listening a very bit to music and writing some sms ?!?!

with original launcher there is no app drawer, you can use launcher pro, wifi works good for me, no reboot when disabling...

Battery life is better after 2 days of use, I think.

I'm having problems with the SD Card.

Won't mount, however from Malez, all is ok.

Tried to refresh /system/etc/vold.fstab from another ROM, and didn't fix-it.

Any ideas ?

You have to format your sd card with only fat32 partition, boot doesn't support app2sd, so ext partition is not mounted, and you have "blank sd" notification. With malez recovery repart your sd with:

swap 0

ext 0

It should works now.

With a reboot ( feels like OS Windows..), all is ok now.

I tested openvpn on this rom, during connecting i got the following error:

can not allocate tun/tap dev dynamically

how can i fix it?

Edit: I used "boot.img" and "bcm4329.ko" from XianKoud_CyanogenMod-6.0.0_v0.5", now it works.

Light/proximity sensors, WiFi tethering. I have problems in sending SMS and with some home numbers, but this could be just me (my carrier is Wind Italy).

You misunderstood my previous stamenent. I simply answered your question: what does NOT work? Light and proximity sensors, WiFi tethering :P

backup build.prop (or take the one from latest miui liquid release), download the multi language pack and flash it in maelez no wipe, reboot. during boot use.

adb remount

adb push build.prop /system/build.prop

adb reboot

and it should work (not tested it myself) (might need to wipe dalvik cache)

I have flashed the multilanguage pack and it works fine, yayyy!!!

EDIT: after flash of multilanguage, screen rotation doesn't works, I don't care for now, but I report it.
