A question about GPS and XXEGH2 rom ( A bit urgent )

Hi everybody :P I am going to flash latest official wm 6.5.3 (GH 2) rom , now using wm 6.1 , and I want to ask if gps is fixed in this rom ? Do I need to Vagus fix with it ? Radio rom will be "XJF1" .Also I want to use igo 8 so what will be the settings for igo ? Please reply my question.

if u mean the 6.5.3 ROMs dose not save your setting in Xtra, yes, it has been fixed. about GPS performence, you can go to here and get fix for fast lockon.

thanks for your answer I am wondering about the " PERFORMANCE " so after appliyin this fix will my device connect faster than the normal ?

yes, i'm using the reg file instead of cab. works like a charm.

ı couldn't find the reg file for wm 6.5.3 please give it to me and what sould I do with it ? I am sorru for my boring questions but this is my first pda and I need to use gps :P also which rom and radio are u using on your phoe =

igo8, on JH2 6.5.3 ROM just works fine without vagus's fix or registry tweak.

Vagus's fix was for direct communication with gps chip.

Registry tweak is just for lowering required time to first fix.

but CSC_I8000NXXJF4 Multi-CSC from the same post. it's 6.5 CSC but just works fine on 6.5.3

Don't be afraid, just try with stock JH2 ROM. You may try registry tweak if necessary, kafein kardeşim.

teşekkür ederim hocam deneyceğim ama en olmadı msnde anlatırsan sevinirim :P bir de romun kendi CSC dosyasını kullansam GPSi kötü yönde etkiler mi ? Yani demem oki orjinal wm 6.5.3 h2 romu kurup üstüne igo8 i hiç ayar yapmadan kullanabilir miyim ? ve sendeki igo nasıl benim programdan kaynaklı sorun olabilir mi acaba link verirsen igo için sevinirim .
