Hi MS Team! im trying to download your new sense rom 23150. but each time i finish downloading it the file is corrupt. :) wat to do? :)

Do make sure that the full file size is download.. it happen to me once that it was cut off when almost end.

Then open with the 7Zip file... need to enter the password..remember there is a spacing in between the 2 words. :)

For some reason Sorg's disable message sent notification does not disable the notification on Sense 23150 ROM. I tried it on other ROMs and it works. Mk256, can you advise how to disable sent message notification?

Here are some tweaks I use with the Sense 23150 ROM to make it better:

1) Tacchan23's Black theme - better battery life & reduces chances of screen burn in. From here.

2) CameraSoundSh1.cab by Tylwith - Disable autofocus sound, recording sound and SHUTTER1

3) Samsung Dialer JE1 (newest) - Allows in call recording, and I think it looks better than the HTC or windows dialers. Also uses more dark colours than HTC so better on battery.

4) Sound & Notifications - Disable on screen notification for: new text, new email, new voicemail. - There is no point because Sense also notifies, and getting the on screen text message interferes when you are having a text-message conversation.

5) To increase performance, select to change the wallpaper to an animated one and select any png file(not animated is better), this will disable the weather animation. credit to speedfrog

Yes. I install the dialer cab and then select samsung dialer in dialer switcher and then soft reset.

hello guys,

i am going to try the ultra lite version and i was wondering if the 3s delay ringing is fixed?

i am currently using the previus release with samsung dialer installed and i have this delay.

Overall the best rom i ever use so far and believe me i have tried almost a hundred.

one point though i would like to ask.I am using spb shell and i was wondering if it can be cooked

in one of your rom which may save us memory use.

Found a BIG bug in you jj1 6.5.3 rom... if i enable the samsung today.. it either overlaps the task bar or the image of previously running app just stays between task bar and samsung today...... the samsung today also overlaps the lower portion (start bar) while scrolling........

Well, for me the ROM is very good! I liked it's smoothness, speed and style! (the statusbar with desire icons is just AWESOME) i found no problems with it EXCEPT

2!

First: Marketplace? Why the hell it doesn't work? It says "Could not connect to marketplace" I retried tons of times, did tons of things to somehow turn it on but no...after few Soft resets it even dissapeared from start menu :) :)

Second: Microsoft My phone: It doesnt turn on too...

So guys, if anyone faced that sort of troubles, and found solution, pleaasee :( help

Okay..but i had connection. I mean, when i used old ROM (stock) i always connected to marketplace with Wi-Fi, now i can't. Maybe you can give a link where to download marketplace for WM 6.5.3, because you cant download it from Microsoft (There was only for 6.1)

Or maybe i should hard reset? :? For it to appear in start menu (at least)

Is anyone else having problems with WIFI on Dec 10 sense 23150? When I enable WIFI the WIFI icon does not appear in the taskbar. Also, it scans for networks and see them, but when I try to connect it just sits there and dose nothing.

Just wanted to share one addition tweak that I have just found to save 10-12mb RAM:

Here is a cab that will remove the RAM hungry start menu and replace it with "xTask" a lightweight start menu replacement. This is an all in one cab, so no need to remove start menu with any other cab.

Hi.....

first.....i'd like to thank you for these cool custom roms...they are really great!

i'm using your JI1 lite rom (build 28244)

and i have a problem with the messaging!(the only problem that i'm dealing with!!!)

when i get into the messaging....(image no.1)and tap one of my messages that i sent!(the red ones)

the message will open perfectly (that you can see in the image no.2)---->> this is the way that i want!!

but when i tap one of my messages that the others sent to me! (the green ones)

nothing happens!! OR sometimes i get into "image no.3" menu.!

and i don't want this menu(image no.3) or at least i don't want this menu open to me like this...(it's really slow and laggy!!)

so is there any solution that i can open my messages by first method ? (image no1. and image no.2)????

and when i disable "threaded sms view" in the messaging>options

some messages won't open!(image no.4)

in fact...because of this......i can't use messaging!

can you please help me ??

persian text messages shows incorrectly .....

i'm using "Mersad 1.5" to read persian texts in my ppc!

{i'm gonna have to undo the changes that i made in registry{referring to post 148#} and using htmlnote.dll again}

any solution!?

lite 23150. Dec 10, and I am enjoyng a lot.

It s the most stable lite rom(non sense) I´ve tried.

Thank you a lot for sharing it.

I use lite rom because I like the theme "sansung today" wich is cooked in; it is pratical and easy to wear.

Would it not better to keep "touch calendar" in the rom, and not wear only app "callendar" in the rom? Because taping in the date pf sansung today, you open touch calendar, wich would be a rapid quick and it makes the same function of the touch callendar. So, the app callendar is a double app and it s over, I think.

I had some trouble with Iconsoft Spam alert. The connection did not work. I could not call in ou out. So, I unnistalled it, and installed Inesoft and its well.

Podcast did not work too; neither installing in the main memory or in my memory. Any advise to make podcast work?

another user also reported this problem..... your ji1 doesnt give me this problem..........
