Hi,

on 1st post there is a link to the missing cabs. There you will find 2 cabs: Office and OneNote. Install both of them. Go to market and install update to Office 2010. Working fine for me.

But with the original Lockscreen cab I did not have any success! I always had problem with not working cube-, hangup-, camera-button. But installing S2US solved the problem for me. To me original Lockscreen was ok, but S2U2 looks much better... and there is still so much free ram left.

Just add the weather toggle button to quick links and use it to turn off animation. After that you can remove the button. No way easier! ;)

Guys...can anyone of you upload an UL 29007 version with 4mb PP? I tried over 30 times to change the damn thing and it doesn't work:(.

If this works, i'll share the results. After preliminary tests(with other rom), i have 119mb ram free after boot.

Yes, you read it correct:).119 mb.After installing all apps, there are 100 mb free left.

I'm trying build 29007 with WINDROID right now wich, by the way, is THE MOST AMAZING Sense rom EVER built so far, but I always go back to 21916 in Sense roms because of stability and some minor issues that usually don't appear in 6.5 but are common in 6.5.3. Anyways, it would be great if you guys could keep a 6.5 version as an option... ;)

And since I'm already writing there goes a few tips to avoid problems when flashing ROMs, specially Sense ones. I know it's a little anoying to follow all these steps since it takes at least half an hour to have your new ROM finally running but I assure you it's worth the time and the trouble. I usually find most of you guys complaining about a full load of problems, some of them just little glitches but some really big like, "crashing" big! :D And since I stopped facing those prblems once I started to follow these steps as guildlines to a trouble free flashing I think it would be nice to share and see if you guys too have some better results like I did. So, here we go! B)

1. Back up your internal memory. You will wipe everything clean on the next steps so better not to ignore this one! ;)

2. Remove your SD card. Not a real step, just a precaution cause I don't trust any programmer besides me... B)

3. Go to Samsung Settings / Memory Settings / Clear Memory and execute this procedure. It will wipe clean your whole memory, device and internal, and reboot to factory settings but you will still keep the ROM you last flashed. Remember: ALL MEMORY CONTENTS WILL BE ERASED!!! DO YOUR BACKUP AS STATED IN STEP 1!!! :D

4. After the reboot go to Samsung Settings / General Settings / Language Change and choose a diferent language from the one already selected. Complete the steps to execute the procedure. This will cause the phone to reboot and start the auto-flash procedure with the default ROM installed by the factory. After 3 reboots the phone will be back to the original ROM and settings like when you got it from the box the first time. Now, some things to consider in this step:

4A. If you ever flashed your phone with a .MST ROM file you have lost your original ROM since the .MST flashed takes its place. In this case the phone will go back to that ROM with it's basic settings;

4B. If your phone doesn't have a alternative language (unlikely) or if you have flashed a single language CSC on it you won't be able to execute this step via Samsung Settings. In this case you should get yourself a multi-language CSC (any will do) and flash it to the phone. After that if the phone didn't start the language change process on this on you can just start it as explained in item 4.

5. Repeat step 3. May be overzealous but since I'm already taking all this precautions and time... :D

6. Ok, now you got yourself a 100% clean phone with factory ROM (or last ROM flashed with .MST file) and only the original basic settings and registry records. Now it's time to start flashing your new ROM. Try to flash only the PDA part. Flash with eBoot or CSC only if chef recomends it to avoid problems since he best of all knows what he had to mess up with to make it work! And if you have to flash one of those try to use the ones from your original phone, again unless stated diferently by the chef :D

7. Flashed your ROM, right? All looks good (I hope! hehehe) and you wanna start loading it with goodies, right!? WRONG!!! Lets give the phone some time and help to adjust to the whole new bunch of stuff you already loaded into it. First, let it sit free of your eager fingers until the "Job done! Launched" message appears on OCTANS. Unplug it and do a soft reset. When the boot has completed turn it off and do a hard reset.

8. OK, now you can begin playing with the cool stuff. But try to start light like restoring PIM data and setting the SO and, if it's the case, Sense options. Do a soft reset after that.

9. If you are using CHT over Sense you can start setting it to your preferences now. Remember: CHTEditor is a little bitch working in our O2s so try to set and save each group of options so if it crashes you don't have to start all over again. And when it crash, and it will, just soft reset and continue from where you stopped. In the end, when everything is to your liking, don't forget to export your settings. :D

10. One last soft reset after all is done so your phone can start fresh and update all it's sensors, including memory and battery meters.

As I said, it will take significantly longer until you have your new ROM running but you will certainly run smoother.

And have in mind that the phone will take at least 5~7 days to really stabilize with the new system so you can get a real feeling if all is well, if the RAM stopped leak and battery stopped running short too fast. The chefs make wonderful things but they work in a gray area and sometimes with shadows hovering over. They are messing with others stuff and even making squares fit circular holes. Nothing will be perfect but it can still be useful and pleasant if we all do our part and have patience!

i am using the samsung dialer, & my contact quick link cannot be used for quick dialing. ;)

Is this the known issue? or i miss out some steps or other way to solve it?( but i need the video call, so i will stay with samsung dialer)

I think the problem of 6.5.x is white squares on sense tabs but there is no white square in our roms.

HTC Phone canvas is cooked into sense and cookie ROMs.

mk256 there is some parameter that can be modified for make gwes.exe more big before it crash? for now it crash when grow to 20-22mb.. these limit can be modified to 40 or 50mb?

Sorry, my bad for not trying the HTC dialer in your Rom.

I straight go into the samsung dialer after installed your ROM. :P

.... i will try out the HTC dialer inside your ROM later. :P

Edit 1: The video option in the HTC dialer is not workable. :D

After making the call with video option tab.. the line just go off

OR using another phone to video call in, also will cut off. :huh:

Did you disable the default lock screen in the samsung setting?

Disable it, then able the S2U2 lock screen & then soft reset.

Try again.

Gwes.exe is a build issue ,we can't change the parameters because it can mess up everything.maybe build 28244 would solve it.(next ROMs will be in that build)

that's not a bug ,we just have deleted shutter sounds .

Can I refill the shutter shound? where can I get and how do I fill it? I also tried playing with lit s3clock FPSECE in this rom but FPSECE always closed by itself (not playable).
