I think there are just two ways:

1.6.5.x start menu remover

2.compact start menu

second way already is in roms.

but using compact menu doesnt remove start menu.. pressing the window logo still opens the honeycomb menu.. can't free up the 10mb ram.. start menu remover is the only way to free up the 10mb.

I dont know how much do u track topic "Android on omnia 2"...but i have 1 question. Is it possible to flash new Rom (winmo) using Octans downloader (standard procedure), without losing Android package on my new created partitions (My storage now is splitted into 3 partitions FAT32, ext3 and usual WMstorage + wm reserved space 0,5 GB)? I know that is almost impossible, but I had to ask! :P

nb0 file will not wipe my storage unless you erase nvPDA after flashing.. which imo is not needed..

Well, guess what started working out of nothing? My GPS on Jan, 30th Windroid ROM. Just returned the setup to default configuration (COM4 s/w port, b/r 115200, COM9 h/w port) and while riding a cab turned Google Maps on. After almost 2 minutes it finally found the damn sattelites and started working.

But since MS Team applied some fixes and some new stuff on the new ROMs and I was still experiencing some minor bugs and strange behaviors with Windroid Jan, 30th ROM I decided to flash the Feb, 8th Windroid ROM, this time using some newer versions of CSC (using JI1 now) and eBoot (using JJ1 now). Saddly the little bugs and strange behaviors persist: long waiting time (30~45 secs) until a call connects and start ringing, show/hide keypad button moving on phone canvas, when calling a new contact phone sometimes displays last contact called pic/number instead of the actual contact called pic/number, slowness and loss of touch sensibility everywhere after ROM is up for long time without resets and... guess what just stopped working again!? Yeah, GPS! :D

I didn't try the GPS fix Mk posted last but I'll give it a shot today and try the GPS while riding back home.

Last, but not least, could anyone with Jan, 30th Windroid ROM still flashed please post here the file 20F62884_manila located in the Windows folder? The analog clock of that version is the most awesome looking one I ever had and it's gone on Feb, 8th version. I'd like to have it back and need this resource file. :D

Thanks and I'll post the result on the GPS fix try later.

Use use JJ1 eboot and phone.

No,You have to install samsung dialer .

I have a couple questions please.

is it okay if I use the JJ1 eboot, phone and csc when I flash your lite rom... even though I live in Canada?

Does anyone know where I can find them? Is it safe to flash all of them at the same time?

Is JJ1-pro better?

Thank you,

Sorry but i still have a doubt.. isnt the JJ1 a 21916 (wm 6.5) version?? and isnt your ROM 28244 (wm 6.5.3)???.. do u think it will work anyway?? or should i have to put the JI1 that i think is 28244 including the PDA part and then ur ROM?

What do u recomend me?? what do u have in ur phone??

Sorry for too many questions... and thanx in advance!!

Can someone please, please give me a link to where a n00b like me can find the jj1 firmware to use for MS Team's lite rom?

I live in Canada, and have a Bell phone that is unlocked for Telus... just in case that matters what firmware I should be using.

I installed Lite version but noticed the lock screen is not the one that slide to unlock.

Where can I get the lock screen with slide to unlock like the one used in cookie rom?

Thanks,
